Most of the Indians are anemic and the diet is not sufficient in iron and calcium.hence we advise routinely iron and calcium supplementation.they can cause some discomfort in the stomach for few people.most of the time it is well tolerated

The vaccine can be taken till 45 according to the recent guidelines .it doesn’t do any harm if taken after 36,but if the person has already been exposed the to the virus by now the vaccine may not be of any use
Dear Mam,i am 35 years old and have a girl child of 3 and half years now i am pregnant for 3 months ,but i had missed abortion 5 months back ( on dating scan there was no feotal pole and was evacuated at 2 months) now again i am pregnant for 3 months and on testing of cardolipin antibody IgG is 10.61 GPL and IgM is 12.7 MPL and IgA is 14.2 ARB and doctor has advised me to start LMWH (cutenox injection ) every day till the date of delivery.

With one missed abortion you need not undergo all these tests.you have given the values,but they can vary from lab to lab.are these values more than the reference values of you lab.even then I don’t think it is necessary to take the above injection .we normally prescribe it only for people with more than 3 abortions and if these values are high.if your 12 weeks scan is normal you can definitely continue the pregnancy

if the above remedies don’t work,have it operated.it is a minor surgery.but the amount of relief you get will be great.even if you take medications ,it keeps on recurring.

The frontallobe epilepsy or the medications may not cause infertility.but you should confirm with your doctor whether she can become pregnant and will she be able to take care of the baby.some medications cause abnormalities in the babies .so they will change the medications if the person is planning for pregnancy.it is not menopausal cycle but it is menstrual cycle.menopause means stoppage of menstruation once for all.hypothyroidism should again be corrected before attempting pregnancy

Putting on weight may be because of contraceptive pills.it could also because of overeating,consuming high calorie foods and lack of exercise.it is common to have less bleeding during the usage of contraceptive pills.the pills do not cause hormonal problems.they may in fact correct it .the person taking pills should go for check up of weight ,BP, and breasts every 3 months.if there increase in weight unusually or increase in BP,or any swelling felt in the breasts the pills should be stopped.

Hi I am 35-years-old with a 5-year-old daughter. I have few questioins as we are planning to have a second baby. Firstly is it ok to have a second baby at this age. Will i conceive without any problems. My LMP was on 29th june 2011, we tried during the ovulation period, i.e., from 10th -14th of this month. My cycle is 28 days. It is okay to have baby at this time .aishwarya has delivered at 38 yrs.if youhave no medical or menstrual problems you should be able to conceive .there is no way of predicting whether you will conceive this month.it is not as if the moment you turn 36 the problems pour in.the chances forcomplications increase by about 3 to 5 % .the chances for having a normal baby will be about 95 %.keep trying and goodluck

Possible to have normal delivery after c-section.but it is much riskier than going for an elective c=section ,and trying for a normal delivey after a previous normal delivery

First foremost you should not overeat.total weight gain during pregnancy should not be more than 10 kgs,if you are normal weight before pregnancy.if you had been overweight already 5 to 7 kg weight gain is sufficient.you should do regular exercises.your baby position should be normal,your water levels around the baby shouldbe normal.you should be able to put up with the labour pain or prepared take up epidural.it is not a single factor,but so many things are involved .all the best.finally never worry about the route of delivery.the mother and baby should be okay at the end of delivery.

My first pregnancy was miscarried in 13 weeks. In second pregnancy, doctors said that i have very short cervix and need to do a cerclage. It was done in 11th week and again while doing USG in 20th week cervix was found open so cerclage was done for the second time. But even after this, at 21st week all waters came out and pain was induced and baby delivered pre-maturedly and dead.
Now i am advised to avoid preganacy for next 1 year. Is there any treatment for this ? Please help me out in this. I am very confused.

I am 26 yrs old, and was detected with Thyroid problem 2 yrs back. My TSH levels had gone up to 12(initially when it was detected it was 5.6). If your thyroid problem is corrected and you are taking tabltes regularly,there should be other reasons for irregular periods.you can take regesterone tablets to get your bleeding.

As for as I know it is not banned in USA.it is a drug which has been in use for more than 20 years and it has not produced any side effects.it is safe during pregnancy
My cousin was diagnosed about 6 months ago as having ovarian cysts (polycystic). Her doctor suggests that there is no need to remove these cysts as they are polycystic but the pain is very severe during periods and a pain killer has become a must during this duration and even one tablet of Meftalspas is not sufficient to reduce the pain.

DUring the time of delivery , i had a severa pain in my anal hole.
Later , after 2 years of pregnancy, still iam having that pain. WHen i work for many hours standing in kitchen , i get this pain. I see a small flesh coming out of anal hole. Am undergoing follicular study .My endometrial thickness is 5.7 mm and left ovary is 20 *14 mm during my 9 th day of my mensus .This 5.7 mm is seems to be very less , as per my doctor.Am very disappointed with this .Can youtell me , is this will be the major cause affecting my pregnancy?. It will be good to have a thickness of more than 7 mm.there are medicines to improve the thickness of the endometrium.diet may not be able to help.

Hello doctor.. I've got copper T inserted after 4 months of my delivery. That was in the last week of April. I delivered in the month of December last year. I've had spotting since then and it is still continuing. Not only spotting but my periods is also very irregular. Sometimes it comes right after 28 days, otherwise there is just 15 days gap between my periods. Also before there is spotting i get lower abdomen pain which is similar to the pain when there is regular periods.. (Cramps like pain). The white discharge also has increased eversince the copper T was inserted. But there is no foul smell during the white discharge. Would this spotting continue, doctor?? Is this condition normal or should I get it checked with my gynaec? After every period I do check the status of the Copper T by feeling the thread. I can feel it.
The copper T can produce all the symptoms you have mentioned.If it is getting problem you have to get it out.

height of a person is genetic.if you are short your baby will also be short.
since your husband has normal height ,baby will eventually have a height somewhere inbetween your and your husband's.it is very difficult to say how much will be the final height.you can consult an orthopedician regarding whether there is any bony abnormality and whether there are any bone lengthening surgeries can be done

the reason for the irregular periods is pcos.it does not disappear .periods will always be irregular.it is okay to have irregular periods if it is within 2 months.if you want to have it earlier you have to take progesterone tablets after consulting your doctor.diet without sugar and fried items should always followed.regular physical exercise is a must.white discharge on 13 th day and afterwards may be due to ovulation which is normal.if the white discharge has smell or itching it may be because of infection in which cas you have to consult your doctor

usualy soon after the delivery, especially old people gives sugar water for babies. does it hav any scientific reasons? is it good or bad to give sugar water fr babies soon after birth even before feeding milk?
2. i've seen some people giving boiled ginger water mixed with sugar for small kids(2yr to 6yr)... telling that its good for their digestion... but the children will be screaming any thing. is thr any use of ginger water?
1. Sugar water should not be given. Breast milk is bland. It is not sweet and it takes some effort on the baby's part to suck milk.
If sugar water is given, baby may not like breast milk and may not take effort to suck.
2. Not needed at all. Body has enough mechanisms to digest whatever is taken. So no need to give ginger water.
Dr im in my 35 week. last week ultra sound showed AFI as 6.8. my doctr told its less so IV was given to me for 7 days daily. then again scan taken after 7 days of iv then it showed 8.8 now(36 weeks). Again she says its less and to take iv for 7 more days.. its really painful.. mental and physical torture to undergo this IV. Is there any other alternative to increase the AFI other than IV? iam due on Mar 14. baby wt is now 2300grams
Each one differs in the way they treat, it is always better to follow what your doctor says. They have been following you since the beginnig. AFI of 8.8 is okay. Don't worry.
I am a mother for a 9 month old baby. I had a c-section delivery. I have a bicornuate uterus(properly curved). I had a huge tummy during my pregnancy. I increased by 20 kg in prenancy(mounting to 78). After delivery i reduced 13-15kg.I am now about 64kg and my height is 5'5".The problem is my tummy is not reducing. Post delivery exercises are the best to reduce your tummy. But if you have a flabby tummy due inherent weakness of the abdominal muscles it can be repaired by plastic surgery only. Bicornuate uterus has nothing to do with this.

After my ejaculation in her vagina, i dont normally remove penis for atleast 10 minutes. Once I remove, I can see some semen comes out. Is it normal? or is it due to small size of penis? How can we retain the semen that comes out after intercourse?

The size of the penis is irrelevent. A penis of one inch can function as good as a penis of 5 inches. You need not keep your penis inside after ejaculation to keep the semen inside. The vagina is a open cavity. Hence most of the fluid will come out. The sperms in the semen will swim into the uterine cavity. The lady should not wash immediately after intercuorse. Should wait for atleast 20 to 30 minutes
I had a miscarriage in the 19th week in Sept 2009 owing to an "incompetent cervical O/S" . I was carrying twins and had conceived after 6 cycles of Siphene and 1 cycle of Letroz ( conceived in the cycle with Letroz). I have a history of PCOS and hypothyroidism.

You have not told me anything about the pregnancy in the scan report.
if your pregnancy test is possitive and you are not able to see any pregnancy in the scan you have to follow up carefully for ectopic pregnancy.septate uterus is a congenital one .you are born with it .if it gives problem you may have to undergo hysteroscopic resection of the septum

polycystic ovaries is a condition in which the ovaries are studded with small water filled structures called cysts which are actually immature follicles.follicles are strructures which contain eggs.normally women develop one follicle every month which starts developing around the 9th day and releses the egg or ovum on the 14 th day.if the egg gets fertilised the person becomes pregnant,if not gets her periods 14 days from the release of the egg.
for women with PCOS ,many follicles try to develop but none of them develop to maturity to release the egg.none of them disappear as well.as a result the ovaries get filled with cysts.they may occasionally release one egg also.hence periods become irregular,and there is a delay in conception.
the tendency to develop PCOS is determined by genetics.there is nothing like a complete cure but can be brought under control by diet ,exercise and drugs.with control normal conception is defenitely possible

Epithelial Component- The epithelial component comprises mostly of superficial, intermediate & few parabasal cells. Epithelial cells are showing degenerative features and vaculation.
Background -The background is dirty and comprises of dense clusters of acute inflammatory cells.
Impression- Cervical smear- Inflammatory smear
Advice- Repeat smear after adequate therapy.
You are kindly requested to please clarify this problem and what is its treatment.The ultrasonogrphy reports mentions about bulky uterus. I am quite worried about the same and want to avoid any problem relating to uterus as my mother also went through the removal of uterus at her 50s.

Bulky uterus is nothing to worry. It only means that your uterus is a little bigger.the pap smear report tells you that you have some infection for which you have to get a prescription from your doctor .it is not cancer.

We r planning to extend our family from 2 to 3. i have a thiroid problem and i m taking medition for it and along with it i have joints pain problem, so i want to no there will be any problem we will face to concieve or it could be normal by taking some precautions.

the contraceptive tablet you are taking is good only.however ,you should have a check up of the breast ,BP, and weight every three months.it is a must .if you cannot go to a doctor ,please do not continue the tablets.you should consult a doctor regarding your breast.there are no shortcuts in these things.
Hi Doctor, I had miscarage twice, the first one was very short (2 months - started bleeding), the second one was for 5 months, the doctors analyzed and said the baby had drunk some fuid, the outside fluid is less, the babies heart had some fluid and all and they asked me to abort the baby. Now how myself and my husband have to prepare for the next pregnancy? Will there be any repetition of the previous case, i am very afraid about my next pregnancy. it is really unfortunate you had bad obstetric history.but abortion once or twice is common in any body's life.your chances of having a normal conception are still bright around 80 to 90 % eventhough we cannot guarantee .do not keep worrying about the worst.look forward for well baby you are going to have in future.HOPE is the best solution for the unexpalined problems
Dr, I have a one and a half year old kid. I had stopped feeding one year back, but milk flow still not fully stopped. If I squeeze, milk is leaking a little. I took a prolactin test and it is 7.0 (normal level). So I thought it would settle down itself in due course. But it has not. What should I do? Should I take some tablets to stop it? HbsAg is a jaundice producing viral infection . some people have what is called as carrier state ,that is they have infection but will not suffer from disease.they might transfer the infection to the partner. test your husbands blood .if negative he can be immunised to prevent him from getting it .if he is positve he might be the person who transmitted the infection or vice versa

How safe it is to take depo-provera injection? I had endometriosis two yrs back and it was removed by laprascopy. I conceived right after that and have a healthy baby boy who is 15 months old. I have a problem, but i feel little bit shy to ask this.I gave birth in 2006, it was a C-section. After my delivery I got a small skin protrusion near my anus.It didn't pain at all. Everyone in my house said because of delivery my body would have got heat, so a slight piles problem.I didn't consult any doctor at that time. But still that protrusion is there. I don't have any pain there.But once i had constipation problem, at that time i had pain and a slight bleeding from that protrusion.

I was having pain in my lower abdomen and back as well as intercorse was always painful since my delievery, my baby is now 8 months oid [he was a ceserian birth]. I am having regular normal periods after he completed his 6 month i.e. after I started his solids but still I am breastfeeding him as he is not taking some other milk.
Yesterday pain was so much and I was feeling so weekness so I went to doctor. I had my ultrasound and the Doctor said my Uterus is very thick/ big in size and its a very serious situation. she said if I want to plan 2nd baby I need to do that soon becuase situation will get worse with the time. Its a very hard decision for me as my baby is just 8 months old and I cant take care of 2 babies at this time as I am a working women as well as m nt at all mentlay ready for this situation.
Can you please advice me on this situation doctor and may I know is this a very serious issue? If yes why it happened like that and what are the alternatives to cure it.

Its told that more numbers of embroys will be send to the uterus... if more than two embroys are formed is it possible to remove others... and is there any good possibliy for normal delivery(my uterus is in good condition). nowadays not more than three embryos are kept in the uterus .if more embryos are kept and if more than two conceptions occur it is possible to reduce the number of fetuses .it is possible to deliver normally.

it is very common to have the problems you have mentioned during pregnancy.people do loose weight during the first three month .you can ask your doctor to prescribe medicines for vomiting,digestion and gastritis.they can be taken safely during pregnancy.all these symptoms will disappear after 14 weeks.
My sister-in-law got married in 1993.till 2007 she had more than 5 abortions. she is having sugar problem fromthe begining(after marriage).These abortions happened before 5th moth ,or some times it will not up to the 3rd month also .Doctors could not find the exact problem of the abortions. some times they say ,fetus is not growing, somtimeno heart beat , but tthey could not find the exact problem. But my mom and inlaws are from Tirunelveli they want me to come there.They are equally adament that it would be convienient for all if i could have my delivary there.Problem is all are working and no one is in a situation to avail leave for a month to stay with me here.I can understant their situation as well that its a bit critical to avail leave for 1 month.I knew that those docs are also equally good.
I am too confused.Though i am trying hard to make up my mind to go to home town, i dont know why i am not that happy mentally.Physically i wont be having any probs where ever it might be.But mentally !!?
Now i feel that i am left alone i dont know anyone here to to assist me during this period and totally upset for the past 2 weeks becaz of this issue!!:(

you should check your BMI.formulas are avilable in the internet.if your BMI is between 20 AND 25 IT IS NORMAL.If it is more it is better to reduce and then concieve.still you can conceive.the chances of developing diabetes and hypertension are more if overweight.you should not take high calorie foods like sweets and fried items.you need not take increaesd quantity of any food in the first five months.later after 5 months it is enough if you take a little extra

is important that you deliver in a place where you feel comforatable .if you really feel you cannot go home and want to have delivery with your doctor here ask your parents to come after you get into labour and go home with baby in a weeks time.or you visit the place were your parents are planning to have delivery, talk ot the doctot see how you feel . if you feel comfortable with her also , then go to your native place one month before you due date, where every body will be comfortable.you need lot of help from others after delivery.so better to be in good terms with others

for the past 2 years i have been suffering from absence of menstrual period. iam 38 yrs old now having a mild hypo thyroid problem for which iam taking thyrox-50 daily. i saw many gynes & they did scan , hormon tests & bloodtests. all are normal, no fibroids ,no pcos etc. & for the past 2 yrs i gained an extra weight of 25 kgs. & now iam at 85 kgs / 154 cms. they precribed registrone to restore my periods. if i stop taking that my period also gets stopped. as iam worried about the sideeffects iam not taking that. i had a period of 35 days in my lmp [came after 6 mnths] & again i was prescribed trappic mf & 21 days duolutonL tablets. somehow bleeding got arrested. i did PAPSMEAR & MAMMOGRAM. all are normal. iam on M2 tone also. now iam having my periods which is very painful for the first time since my puberty . i was regular in periods since my puberty. no pain also . but now why there is a pain like infected wound on both sides of F. tubes. this time also should i take TRAPPIC MF to control the lasting periods ? all these symps due to pre- menopausual phase? why pain , lasting periods or nil periods? plz help , iam worried. thank you!
increase in weight and hypothyroidism can cause anovulation-i.e. no release of eggsif no eggs are released you may not menstruate for long time.if you dont menstruate for long time the thickness of the tissues inside the uterus become very thick,and when they are shed the produce more bleeding.when there is more bleeding pains is common.you should reduce your weight. most of the problems will be solved.if bleeding is more trapic mf can be taken
My son is 17 months old...he is vomitting often after intake of rice or cereal. i will give cereal at 10.30 A.M and rice(dall, rasam and veg) @ 1.30 P.M and Milk @ 5.30 PM and again rice @8.30 P.M. Is this diet and timing is ok for him to be healthy? Why he is vomiting everything sometimes?
if his weight gain is normal you do not have to worry about the vomiting. the child can vomit if forced or overfed also.anyway check with your doctor , and if all parameters of growth are normal stop worrying about the vomting

if every thing is normal and still you are overweight overeating must be the only problem.you have to shed the extra weight by diet and exercise only and may be some medication in addition.medication alone without diet and exercise are of no use.reducing the weight will solve most of the above problems.
you can take regesterone to get your periods and trapic mf to control bleeding.both are safe tablets .when the periods are profuse it will be painful.pain killers can be used to alleviate pain
I deliverd my son last yr. Till now we are not using any contraceptive method but want to go for something. I thought to go for copper-T but many r saying there r lot of risk factors involved like may move out of place and cause problem. Some say will cause over bleeding and put weight. I'm very much confused. I want to know whether these are true and can we do excersice like skipping after putting copper-T?
every method has certain % of people who may have problems.who will have , we cannot say before hand.if copper t does not suit you you get it out the very moment.it does not displce with excercise.it is safer than having an abortion.it can cause increased bleeding for some people.it suits most of the people.if it suits you can forget that your are having copper t and do any activity on earth
Hi Dr. I am a mother of 2 girl babies. As in 2.5 years and 7 months. Both my deliveries were normal. After my 2nd daughter i have done family planning. After 3 months i got my monthly periods which was very liquidish and for 6 or 7 days. No cramps. After another 3 months now i got my periods and is still continuing as in 30 days. I am worried. Did not get tired all this while but now i am feeling a litlle giddy. Did consult my dr. she has give me some test to undergo. I put on a lot of wieght after my 2nd delivery. is it because i did not get my monthly periods or is it because of my surgory? I also did eat well as i was feeding. but gradually i reduced but have still not reduced. pls help me out. my bleeding is very normal and no cramps all these days but yesterday did have a little.
have your thyroid checked and have a scan done.putting on weight is neither due to surgery nor due to delayed periods.it is mainly due to overeating and lack of exercise.start doing exercises .bleeding problem has to sorted out by your doctor in personal consultation.
i had a c- section delivery in jun 2007 and later as per my dr 's advice went for copper -T initially had bleeding issues and afetr 6 months i was fine. But recently i hav severe burning sensation on the vagina after the intercourse and at times even my husband is having this burning sensation.can you please tell me what is the reason for this.is it because of copper T also quite often i get vaginal infection and as per my gynac's advice i use candid cream to get out of it.

copper t can produce repeated infection of the vagina which can cause burning after contact and itching.if repeated it is better to get the copper t out.your husband and you have to be treated simultanoeusly for the infection.you have to follow some other method of contraception

I got my Last month periods on Mar 27th.. After that I havent got yet.. will there be any irregular periods becoz of Copper t.. and any other side effects.. hello doctor, i'm nearing my 7th month of pregnancy. inspite of a normal diet, i keep on gaining weight.
my usual diet is:
once i get up i take half a litre of water,
half an hour later i take a cup of sugar less milk with two biscuits.
after an hour i take one and a half glass of tendercoconut water.
by 10.15 - 3 medium sized idlies.
by 12.30 or when i feel some burning sensation i take a cup of buttermilk made up of slimmed milk.
by 1.30 - 2 chappathis and a little curd rice(side dish is made without oil)
by 5 - a bowl of watermelon
by 6 - a cup of milk with 3 pieces of brown bread
by 8.15 - a cup of soup
by 9.20 - 2 chappathis
by 10.30 - a glass of buttermilk
midnight if i'm hungry i take another cup of buttermilk.
this is my usual diet. and in the evening i go for 1 hour bit fast walking. on alternative days i sweep my house. my sleeping time is mostly 8 to 9 hours. in the middle i dont sleep.
and i suffer a lot with the acidity problem. that to in the evening hours. i feel hungry for every one hour in the evening.
can u pls tell me what is the mistake i'm doing? why am i gaining weight? how can i overcome this weight gaining and acidity problem
YOU HAVE TO CUT THE BISCUITS IN THE MORNING AND BREAD IN THE EVENING.INSTEAD YOU TAKE SALADS OF CARROTS ,CUCUMBER,SPROUTS,FRUITS EXCEPT BANANAS,MANGOES AND JACKFRUIT.WALKING ALONE MAY NOT BE SUFFICIENT.YOU HAVE TO DO PREGNANCY EXERCISES

I am 20 wks pregnant ,i was adviced by elders in my family that after this period we should be carefull while sleeping and should not roll on bed.
I always sleep on either left or right side.
But while changing the side from right to left or otherwise ,should i get up sit and then turn to my other side?actually its really hard for me to follow this as it disturbs my sleep.
I usually change the sleeping side by lying on back then to other side i could not get up for this!

My baby will be celebrating her 2nd birthday this april. Her birth weight was 2.5 kgs and now she weighs 10.1kgs. Because she looks lean everyone comments that its bettre she puts on some weight! but she is also a fussy eater.its takes an hour to give her every feed. and atleast 15mins to make her drink a glass of milk. This is her days menu breakfast(upma, idly anything we eat)at 9am, 4ounce of milk at 10.30, luch(rice and rasam and very little of cooked vegitable) at 12.30,a glass full or milk at 5pm, a banana at 7pm and dinner(rice and rasam)at 8.30pm. She seems to be happy with this alone and is not comfortable with any change. Is this diet enough for her to be healthy? can i start giving her any health drink with milk? Do i have to make any changes?

Thanks for your response to my earlier question. It has been 6 weeks from the date of D&C and i still do not have my period. I fear this is due to the pre-exsisting PCOS condition. Earlier I had taken norethindrone(Aygestin) to jump start my period, took 5mg tablets twice a day for 10 days and then got my period. I'm also on metformin. Please advise if I'm on the right track.

I am a mother of 2 kids aged 4 and 1. They were all born normally.. The problem is that of late I am getting a feeling that my husband is not intimate with me. He does not like sex at all.. He is ready to sit and talk with me for any amount of time but when i ask him why we are not getting physically close, he says he just has no interest. I recently had my CS along with sterilization on November 26th. My first delivery was also CS. My daughter is 3 years old but does not eat properly. Her intake is either plain rice without any curry or ghee, just plain rice, or plain dosa without chutney. The only thing that she likes is chicken even it is spicy but the one that is got from shops and not the one made at home.

I have had a termed pregnancy in july 2008 ( 5 months )diagnosed as spina bifida and lost another one in december 2008 - early term . I had a D&C in Feb 2009 and awaiting for the period. Currently on folic acid 4 MG.

I went for an ultra sound scan today which is the sixth week of my pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy. The doctor said that he could detect two gestational sacs and has asked me to come for another scan on March 25th. I am worried because there is only one case of twin pregnancy in my family, that too in my father's side. Is it possible that I could be carrying twins? Any early symptoms that I shoud watch out for? I only feel nauseous but no vomitting till now. Please advise.

Hello Dr, I delivered a boy baby (normally) on july 11th 2008. I got myfirst period after 4months from his birth. then i started using the contraceptive pill called ZEROGEN last month (17-02-2009 as this the day1 of my period). Dr prescribed this pill as i am still nursing my baby. He is 8 months old now. while using the pill regularly i got periods again within 15days. i still have 13pills in that pack. i got my second period 3rd of this month. Wat could be the reason for it?
if you had forgotten one or two pills the breakthrough bleedng can happen.if is not profuse or troublesome you dont have to worry.continue to take the pills regularly

This condition will make the person put on weight, may cause a delay in conception. The main treatment for this is diet and exercise. You should avoid all high calorie diets-sweets and oily foods. Medications will depend on your needs like whether you want to become pregnant or post pone pregnancy.
There is good chance of spontaneous conception if the periods had been regular so far.

Im a mother of a 1year 2 months old month male kid. Last month when i visted my gyneac i found out that i have reduced weight tremendously in a short span of time,i was 45 kgs where now i am only 41.2 kgs, she had asked me to take some tests , the result found to be normal but my thyroid showed positive it was out of range ( 7.26). She has asked me continue the tablet - thyrox 25 for a month , after taking the medication i feel better but ive not gained weight. In thyroid you have three values. You have not mentioned what those values are. If you are loosing weight you should check for hyperthyroidism for which you don’t takethyrox. Also you should look for tuberculosis-chances are less with good appetite. It is betteryou consult an endocrinologist. Post delivery taking care of the is really tough, and many women do loose weight. You should eat well.

YOUare going in correct in correct direction. An ultrasound at 20 to 22 weeks is must to rule out anomalies of the baby. If you are rh negative you have to go for a test called rh antibody titre also called indirect COOMB'

Symptoms of pregnancy sometimes can be psychological. Fever ,vomiting could have been due to flu. Rarely even with pregnancy ,test can come as negative. Recheck after a few days. If still negative, go for an Ultrasound and blood test-serum beta HCG

During contact it means that it is an infected discharge and you have to consult your doctor. Too much of itching can be sign of diabetes.

You can take tablets for post poning periods. Get a prescription from your doctor
I am Jaya and has a daughter of 1.6year. She has the Thumb suking from her birth. I am not worried for this. From 9 months onwards she started keeping left thumb in the mouth and right hand on my eyes and scribbling there. now she trying to pluck the hair from the eye lashes.she does this when she is trying to sleep. if nobody are next to her she starts doing for her slef.

2. I have put on some (heavy) weight in mid portion of my body. I like doing skipping a lot. Can I start with it ? ( I have not sone any specific excercise after my pregnancy)

2.Skipping alone may not be able to help you in reducing your midportion. There are specific exercises for each portion of the body. You can learn from any fitness centre. You can do skipping definitely

During my first pregnancies, I used to say that I am an expecting mother and ate very well and when I fed my boys for more than a year each, I used to say that I am a lactating mother and eat well the result of which is that I have crossed 65 kgs.
You need to control your diet-should avoid sweets in all forms and fried items. You need not increase the quantity of the food in the first five months of pregnancy after five months you need to increase 300 calories which equals to one extra glass if milk, one fruit and one serving-say one idly – don’t eat for two-two adults. Post delivery you need 600 calories extra. If you are already overweight you need to increase even less calories. The exercises you have to learn during pregnancy and do it- don’t wait for the post delivery period.

Profuse watery discharge from the vagina to the extent that it soaks the dress may be due to premature rupture of membranes-you need to consult your doctor immediately.
