Hi Cmoms,

After seeing the successful community if chennaimoms, I am frequently asked why not do this for other cities.

Well, I am glad to say that I have got the ball rolling with the release of www.delhimoms.com. Sanjeetha Katiyar Durga who is a good friend of my husband has taken the mantle of nurturing the Delhi community.

I was greatly influenced by your comments on this(http://www.chennaimoms.com/blogs/1/posts/11120-taking-chennaimoms-to-other-cities) and hence it will be a seperate site. But we have desinged it so that interaction between moms in different cities will be easier. Please wait for a couple of weeks for the release of the interaction part.

Do take a couple of mintutes to the spread the word about delhimoms.com to your friends and family in Delhi. May be an email or a posting in a forum will help create the initial community.

BTW, if you are interested in spear heading the community in another city, send me a message. People often ask why not launch in all cities. I really like the close feeling we have in chennaimoms and hope to re-create the same in other cities. So planning to roll out only if I can get a great local mom to be the champion for the city.

Congratulations Bhavani. Thats so good to hear. I will play my part in spreading the word. When it comes to delhi, I can definitely do that. Any referal bonus BTW??

Hey thanks a ton Bhavani...!!

I found 1 problem..I am not able to login to Delhimoms with my chennaimoms UN & PW. When I try to Signup for new account..it says my Email id & screenname [which I used in Chennaimoms] already been taken. Please guide

Right now you cannot use chennaimoms screen name and password in delhimoms.com. You can sign up with another email and screen name in delhimoms. This way we keep chennaimoms and delhimoms separate. We are working on the interaction part of chennaimoms and delhimoms (as i've mentioned in the blog). Once it's done, you will be able to connect and interact with delhimoms. Please bear with me for somemore time !
