I am thankful to Sangita for having warned me as we spoke just before I started for the event. Thanks da.

If they do not have enough registrations, they should intimate prior to the event. This is only spoiling the image their company and Chennaimoms banners as we are online partners.

Sangita....just call them for the refund and am sure they will return it back.

I was quite upset as well since I cancelled another cookery event by Malayali Manorama and wanted to go for this.

I am not aware of this Sangita and Vaidehi. I have emailed twilite corpos and hope to get their reply soon. If shobana could get an answer, it'd be great!

Cmoms, I did whatever I could do being the online partner for this event. Please check out the response I got from Twilite corpos. Please reply me with the details so that the organizers know that it was not me who is complaining!

I really do not understand,when ur chennai moms tell us that the organisers were not present at the venue. The entrance stall had 4 of our organisers

1. making an entry of the people walking in

2. The previous day when u personally visited our exhibition, i am sure u are well aware that the organisers desk was very much the first stall and how come your chennai moms are telling that the organisers were not available.

3. Our organisers had the tag twilitecorpos on them through out the three days of our show and how come they could not identify the organisers.

4. I don't think there would have been the neccesity to ring up for the organisers when the whole team was very much present there right from the entrance to the exit which u personally witnessed  on saturday when u visited.

please note giving false information about our company without logic will fetch u know where.

8. Your chennai moms Shobana was an eye witness to all said above.

9.Please verify from your end whether your moms are really proving some point at our organisation and whether they really visited the WE BAZAAR.

Sangita- Im quite surprised...I was there the day before and Shreya did participate in Fancy dress....We also registered at the front desk...S we had to wait a while coz the painting  competition got a little delayed...But it was worth the wait..Shreya won first prize in fancy dress !!

But we had enough n more stalls to shop meanwhile...they were pretty impressive and affordable..as I had mentioned before..

The fancy dress was followed by singing and dancing..and we had a good time...

Infact on Sun, I recd a call at 3.00 pm askg my confirmation for the Family Fun round.Since I wasnt well,cudnt participate...

Wish u had made a little more detailed enquiry..waited n participated and ofcourse won prizes too !!!

Like I mentioned earlier, Sangita saved me from driving a good 10 -15kms. I called her around 3pm and she was there....I called her again post 3:3pm and she was there and again around 4:30pm, she was still there.......I would certainly not suspect a co-chennaimom in this case. I tried to call Shobana many times to clarify something since that morning but no response then I figured out that she may either be busy in the program or something personal. I also tried to call Twilite number but no response.

Maybe, Sangita might want to forward her bills as that would definitely prove she was at WE Bazaar. Also, maybe a phone call from their end to Sangita would have been good too since she had registered like how they called Shobana....

I dont think anyone here is accusing and giving false information. Obviously she is one who was affected and hence the update on the blog. While we share happy experiences, I think it always okay to also share negative experiences and give feedback.

i want to share my experience.....ON 14.8..2010 AT WE BAZAAR... EVENT..

 I have registered my daughter name for dance...competiton...(14.8.10)

 timing is 5pm..14.8.2010 saturday....

me and my daughter reached KAMADHENU...hall, mylapore (earlier it was kamadhenu theatre)...at 4.40pm...(where i met BHAVANI AND CHITRA and also shobs family)

after some time...ie at 5.30pm

i checked with MS. YAMINI..of twlite corps.....for dance cmptn timings..

she TLD  it would take more half an hour ie after 6pm...

as my daughter has to participate in another dance competion....( group dance with her friends and   SOLO DANCE also)...which is gng to be held very far from mylapore...i started.. off...(i left the place)...

all the shops...(jewellery,clothing) were good...

one thing to be appriciated...there were lots of participants for drawing...very small kids ...doing fascinating...drawings...i was thrilled...

one more   reason why i left....

when i asked SUMATHI of twilite corps about dance competition...she said ...they havent decided where to conduct the dance program..

...as ..at the entrance...no a.c./no fan...but music player was there...

at the back of the hall where drawing competition was held..no power supply

they were still in a dilemma...whether to conduct it at the entrance or back of the hall

and also 

i didnt see any  participants......for dance,singing, and fancy dress..

(the person at the entrance tld me 5 registration for dance ,singing...)

(except shobana's daughter..for fancy dress...)

this really confused me....

i was sure it would take time... left the place...so that my daughter can participate...the other dance program...which was well organised...sharp 6.30pm dance program started..and also she won the prize.

P.S.

As Shobanas bday on 18th august...her husband  want to do cake cutting on 15th august. sunday .so he was asking me the which time would be ok...as i knew the we bazzar prgm details.

(.as i only went to twilite corps  to register the name for VIJYAYKUMAR (..as per sangithas request))

so i knew from the office ppl of twlites that AASATHIYA AAN MAGAN timing is SUNDAY 15HT AUGUST AT 3PM..(they asked me to participate also but as i have to go to  my sister place at madippakkam i didnt register.)

i told VIJAY (shobanas husband...)...SUNDAY 15TH after 4pm is the best time to cut the cake....so that many cmoms would be present...even i will come at 4pm..and join

but when i met VIJAY on saturday ...5pm at WE BAZAAR.,..he said SHOBANA is not going to come on sunday...immediately ,i asked SHOBANA,...whether she is going to come on sunday ...she replied me ..as she is not going to host the show...and nt participating ...so not going to come on sunday...

.so sunday...morng VIJAY SENT ME A MAIL...

Vaidehi, I spoke to u in detail....as I said, I don find any missed calls on my mobile...if yes,I wud ve given u a call back...jus as  usual...I don find any reason why I shdnt call u...

J- I cant understand...whats going on...the plans that u and my hubby had made are quite interestg but i come to know only thru this blog...Wish I was hale n healthy atleast for that...

Now I know, why inspite of me being terribly sick and he had wrk at office...he was pesterg me to make it to the show!!!

Sowmya.....Lets not continue this discussion any further. This is certainly not leading us anywhere. We are all matured individuals to understand. I have spoken with Shobana and sorted this out. I did call her and unfortunately my calls did not reflect on her missed calls list. There must have been a technical glitch I suppose.

I am sorry that all this happened. I wish I came to WE bazaar on sunday instead of saturday!

I have emailed twilite corpos this blog and whatever reply I got I've posted it. They have not given any explanation on cancelling the events or repaying the money they got. In fact I was not aware that they got money for participation! If they email me any reply I'd post it here.

I think we've to talk about twilite corpos and not shobana in this blog. Shobana just works with them, she is not responsible for what the company does. I am sure she'd do the best she could for her friends in chennaimoms. And I am sure that vaidehi, sangita and jaisree also wouldn't give any wrong information. I personally have interacted with all the 4 moms and all of them have helped me a lot and are all well wishers of chennaimoms. I am very happy to have them all in the site, but am sad that this incident happened!

Sowmya: jaisree and shobana are also close friends - otherwise why would jaisree plan to go to we bazaar just to celebrate shobana's bday when she visited it already on sat. A week back jaisree helped shobana by calling so many moms who have registered for pink of health! As vaidehi has said, it could be some technical problem also... But I wish twilite had put someone to attend the calls in their landline number or the mobile number they've given for registration!

I will try and avoid such incidents in future (if only the event was there only for 1 day, i'd have tried to be there for the whole day to see all cmoms who came in!). If I could do something on what has happened, please let me know.

I calld Jayshree so many times..but she never picked up my call...and it was really hurtg to see such comments here..callg me a liar..which is the last thing anybdy has done to me !!! But I jus wiped it away as sheer ignorance !!! I don have to justify myself to people who don believe me...

Jaisree, you would know shobana better than me! I guess you'd have gone for WE bazaar for her sakes more than cmoms sakes. I know how you offered your help immediately to help her in the POH event inspite of the fact you'd not be able to make it for the event and you are not one of the volunteers. We all know how truthful and helpfull you are - you paid for sangita - this itself is a proof of your helping nature.

We all were emotional and forgot the fact that the organizers didn't bother to answer the calls or inform the participants. They did call Shobana - might be bcoz she is with them. Why should we all have ill feelings towards others who are not responsible for the bad incidents?

I take the responsibility as chennaimoms was the online partner. If you or I don't hear back from twilite, I'll pay the Rs.200 to you - I absolutely understand that this money is not a big issue for anyone in chennaimoms, but it's my responsibility to have taken care of my members when they go for an event on my behalf. I appologize to sangita, vaidehi and jaisree on behalf of the organizers.

Let us not break a true friendship between shobana and jaisree. Jaisree, please pick up the call from Shobana and I am sure you'd be able to sort it out like the way others did.

Jaisree, we all beleive  you and understand how you felt. In fact if it was not sangita, I would not have known that you were involved in this whole incident! I don't think any of our chennaimoms would be happy to loose your friendship - such a caring and helping friend. Kudos to you to have supported your friendship with sangita... but only I wish it didnt spoil your friendship with shobana.

Shobana, I just wanted to let you know one fact. Twilite corpos did not inform me about the event details or about they charging the participants. Since you posted the blog on the event details, all our moms saw you as Twilite corpos. They started to ping you, message you, sms you and call you for all details instead of going to the organizers themselves. And as they say they didn't pick up the calls and you were our moms destiny! All this could have been avoided only if Twilite has dealt everything with me directly instead of involving you for even a simple blog post!

I think I should be the one to be apologizing here as I should have just read Sangita's experience and gone ahead. I went on to explain how lucky I was to be informed by Sangita about the event and eventually, I had to write that I tried to call Shobana.

I had initially decided to participate in the Cookery event and the Family fun event. But the organizers called me two or three days before the event and told me that the cookery event might be cancelled due to rains. Later Bhavani wrote that they would not conduct that contest unless they have 20 entries. So I confirmed my participation for Family fun with the organizer however, did not find the time to go and pay the fee. On sunday, I tried to reach the organizer and no response so knew that they would be busy and hence tried Shobana since she is closely associated with them (that is what I assumed). Since there was no response from her end also, I decided to go directly and find out if they would still accept registrations. However, at about 3:30pm, I called Sangita to find out if we could come directly and register and the rest is history.

I was not affected by this incident directly or indirectly like Sangita and Jayshree but just wanted to share my experience and also thank Sangita for warning me. I am sure Satish would have given me a hard time if we had gone there only to know that nothing was happening.

Jayshree and I are also close as much she was with you or with many ladies on this site. I must admit that she is one person who motivated me the most during Super Mom apart from my family, close friends and fellow C Moms. She tops the list infact. So when such discussions started taking place, I guess she being her usual self wrote the above and am sure she did not intend to hurt anyone. You must have observed in the past that some comments that I gave on this site could hurt people. I never realised it until Jayshree openly had a discussion about it with me. Ever since, I have limited my giving out comments unless and until it is very necessary.

I guess we both could have avoided this if our discussion need not have been put openly on this blog. I guess that is what has caused the friction .

This definitely is not a blame game and none of us are doing that.

Apologies Jayshree and all those who have been hurt the most by this blog. I guess I will take another step back and hoping that there are no more comments on this blog that will hurt people. If any of you have found something that I have written above which has hurt you, please feel free to call me or PM me. Lets sort it out that way.

Vaidehi....what u wrote was news to me and I calld u immdly and problem sorted out...My only problem is the accusations against me by Jayashree..and the least I expected frm her..and that too knowing me..is what hurts more !!!The way I picked up Sangita's call..and I cud ve spoken to u....I don ve to shy away...

And still I thot I can sort it by talkg to her..but in vain...

There was miscommnunication..or no communication..But accusing me with things which are no fault of mine...and with words and phrases which are totally not digestible...Words once spilled cannot be taken back...we have to be cautious with what we spk n write especially in public forums....It has made deep wounds...
