i would like to share my experience with all of u......

i had been using iud for the past 4yrs ....1st 2yrs i had heavy periods...but some how managed withit for 21/2 yrs again chgd it ...got a new 1 inserted the doc said u can use it for 3yrs...though its validity is for 5yrs...now the i welcomed the real killer into my body....this time everything was normal for the first few months....after that it started with a mild pain....as the days passed i was in the hands of pid infections....after getting it cured again there was pain ....so i decided to take scan ...1 doc said its the infection again ...but the cause was unknown...after taking so many pills...&injections...the trouble was not under control...i had chronic abdominal pain,bach ache,head ache,bad temper ,weight gain and so on...

atlast 1 homeodoc advised me that this could b bcos of the iud...so he asked me to get it removed ...

then i did so ....now i feel dat my body is freed frm something....

but idnt know y the gynos didnt ask me to remove it...though i doubted it could b bcos of it...

as he said ...our body cannot accept any foreign substance to our body for a long period...

so dnt force ur body to accept something wch it dosent like...

and now the main question......

though my body is free my mind is not as it is searching for a new contraceptive...so pls give me some valuble info upon this...

I have also been in trouble because of this iud and i even got operated.. I dont know wat went wrong and a cyst was formed in the uterus and it was confirmed by the docs tat this problem was bcos of the iud and they themselves were not sure what was the exact cause.

There was a mistake from my side also. Actually we will have to get a checkup done every 6 months wen we get this iud inserted , but i neglected it and i didnt go for a checkup for almost a year. But other than that there was no problem in my health. But my body shrunk each day and i became very very lean. But the elders at home just give an old opinion that we become lean wen an iud is inserted and i too neglected it. But one fine day and i even remember it was shankrati and i had come to my moms house to give ellu - bella.. i just collapsed bcos of unbearable stomach pain. My eyes blacked and i fainted. We went to a family physician and it was just a cllinic. she couldnt give us a valid reason and i had no time to give all the tests done. So just rushed to the hospital were i delivered and she knew my history and the same doc had inserted the iud. She did an instant scan and told us that i had to get operated next morning. A cyst was formed and there was a lot of puss formation. So at last i got an operation done and after it the doc told me that now on the iud can t be inserted for me. She even suggested to get the family planning operatio done as quickly as possible. Nothing has been done yet for this and even i m on other contraceptives right now.

But i was not comfortable with these tablets. I got heavy headache. it was like a migrane and i suffered for many months.. then i thought this tablet might be the cause and i just stopped taking it.. Now i dont have such headache.

I am not using anything now jaya. But these pills might differ its effect from people to people. U can try it safely i think.
