Hi everyone, A School - chettinad foundation Hope u all dont get disppointed going after their brand name"chettinad". This school(house) is not meant for kids 5.5 yrs and above.Maybe 1.5 to 5.5 yrs old can attend.Nothing to say good about the school.A house converted into a montessori based play school.No proper contact details and they dont even respond promtly on ur questions. The school has their own timings and they will change the timing of the school anytime according to their flexibility.They said that they might even have class for 10 minutes.Nobody has rights to ask them after they have received our money in their hands..There is no proper rules and regulations. Website does not give proper information regarding 1st std,but management asks us to read the website information thoroughly and write an exam on the website details.Beware of the words mixed age groups in their website.They use that statement to escape from saying that 1st std will be along other younger kids.But if u've paid the fees already there is no talking back or coming back to school asking for refund.Management is very harsh and insulting parents especially ladies. IF you talk more to them about whatever they said before joining the kid in the school they will ask you to get admission in corporation school.They dont even have chairs and tables for 1std kids.Dont know how the kids will practice their writing sitting on the floor.No wonder they had corporation school in their mind. WHEN ASKED ABOUT CHAIRS AND TABLES THE FOUNDER SAID THAT HE WILL CONDUCT CLASSES FOR 10 MINUTES,MAKE THE KIDS SIT ON THE FLOOR OR MUD OR UNDER THE TREES.NOBODY HAS RIGHTS TO ASK THEM WHAT HE IS DOING WITH THE KIDS.If you talk even more HE will give you free advice on how to run life smoothly with your husband without complaining.If u talk even more he will call his security.I spent 26000Rs for the 1st term to Aschool management to hear about corporation school and how to stop complaining in life to live better. Total waste of Money

A-School has many branches..which branch you are talking about????is the same way in every place??? scary to read ya..on top of it spending 24k and this behaviour from school management is truly scary....

Shreya was in A school annanagar..We had grt exp with the school..Accordg to me every school has its own positives n negatives..Its always a mixed feedback..There are parents who are happy and there are the ones who complain too..And it applies to all schools irrespective of being best or worst !!
Yes I did change school this yr..but for my own personal reasons and not for any of the reasons mentioned above...It is a new school and every school will have its own hiccups..Im sure every parent shd be aware while admittg...Yes there were goof ups...like the transport when Shreya came home at 3.45 pm while the school left at 12 noon and we were standg in the streets clueless on Day 1!!
There were a few other thingswhich we were not happy abt too..But end of the yr,weighing the plus and minus, I wud say on the whole I was happy with the Annanagr branch and its teachers..Probably we were lucky to have one of the best teachers..Im happy with the way my child has groomed...in the last yr...
Fun Monday concept,actvty based teachg,allowing kids to be kids,rhymes session for moms,celebrations in a different way,A food on Fridays...all these were really good and I miss them now !!
But Ill definitely agree on the fact that its a wonderful place for pre primary kids and I ve my doubts for primary kids...
Can anyone tell if the Anna Nagar west school is good? or Please post your comments. Since the Anna nagar west school has started last year only.
this school is best for pre-schoolers (upto 3.5)....Not very convinced for kids above 3.5......
But teachers are good....they do their best given the standards and syllabus set by the mgmt...
ASchool management.......please please do something abt these concerns...it pains to see such comments....
Even I had a very bad experiecne with the A school administration. I would defenitely not complain about the teachers or the method of teaching. But the school van.......is a big headache. Never has the van come on time ....either it is too early or too late....we will either have to rush or wait for looong time....
Every time we ask they will only say that "This will not happen again"...Many times my child has not been picked up...& I have t make own arrangments to send her to school... I have really lost hope in their promises. Everyday I have to spend atleast 30-40 min in the front gate of my apartment in the mornings and the evenings...because I never know whn the van will come....It is a guessing gmae that I have been playing for the past 4 months.....
Please improve your administration....Running a school is not only about the quality of education .......
