Treat or no treat Sayee, win or not, it was great that you guys went there in Jackpot as a group of chennaimoms which has given our group a new dimension. A new look. A new phase. I am so happy for you guys. Infact i will say that we plan a meet soon at an eating joint just for lunch and you all four should be there and rest of the moms should together pay the bill. I am serious. I will dutch-in. Anyways, when is the show going on air. Waiting.

 thanks for that .. It was touchy   We wouldnt really mind giving a treat - I was joking - As I mentioned, we didnt really bother about winning.. the purpose was to talk about Chennaimoms  and make viewers know about the site .. Mission accomplished ! 

We dont know about the show date - It may take some time .. They haven't told us..  They will inform us about it later

Congrats gals for making it to the show and representing CM.Winning alone is not the point,participation matters. I dint follow the blogs on jackpot much,missed them,saw only yesterday... I actully thought Hasina was participating  but she as usual had made her presence by helping u all to participate.Great Hasina.Even if u all hadnt won,u all made it to the show,braved the camera and are going to appear on thousands of Tv sets across the globe...and above all u all shd have had a fantastic experience which u all will treasure for life...so u did win...cheer up and we all are going to see u with our families on Tv what more?

thanks so much for your wishes and prayers and treats!! am really touched..as sayee said, we all had a blast yday and even during the shopping and preparation meet- ups!! am happy i was able to represent cmoms in a small way!! it was really an experience to treasure for life!!

Greeshma and Hasina.. for cheering us for the show, for that pat and encouraging words when we lost, and helping us in make up and draping sarees...

Thamil, Uthara, Sumithra, Kousalya, Sumathigovind, Buzzy, and all others who called us and wished us Good Luck!  We tried our BEST to live up to all your expectations! 

After reading all these... and the wonderful moments we had on the screen and off the screen... I don't feel like we lost the game!!! actually WE WON a JACKPOT.... this love, this support, this strongest bond of friendship, this joy of togetherness even when we all are miles apart... is there a better JACKPOT to be won?  Nothing else in this word is superior to this girls.. I am overwhelmed!!!

It was real fun and we enjoyed it thoroughly.... dint feel like we were in a quiz or there are cameras around us.. Khushboo (this pretty lady is a pack of energy!! but poor thing was suffering a lot with her knee pain... but still kept smiling and and tried to cheer the whole set with her wits and naughty gestures...) was also so encouraging and casual that we really felt as if we were on a chennaimoms meet! 

Yes Indhu.. there were interesting questions.. and answers... as it is yet to be telecasted.. i dont want to be a spoilsport.. watch it on TV..

We enjoyed every round until the challenge round .. the questions were not bad.. but out of 12, we knew 8 for sure the others we were not sure.  Assuming the video round to be an easier one, the maximum we could bid with confidence was 9... we started with 6, they chalenged back with 7, we again took it with 8, they went fot 9.. that was our threshold too!! going beyond was risky.. We felt that it would be prudent to challenge there than losing with wrong answers and embarassment... chances of winning would still be there if they gave any wrong answers.. but they were pretty confident and gave 9 answers from the 10 questions asked, two questiong pending.  They won the final jackpot round too!

Though it would've been still more thrilling if we won the show, this experience gave us a lot of moments to treasure for a lifetime (starting from the preparation for the prelims together!)... and Chennaimoms on TV! Bhavani and Sayee explained what is chennaimoms and we showed a chart Hasina prepared with almost all activities happening... and then Khush was also enthusiastic to know more about cmoms.. and announced that she would login as a chennaimom.... (this chennaimom was calling her daughters in between to check if they had breakfast on time and what they were doing then... general knowledge may not be general, common sense may not be common, but the feel of motherhood is the same in all mothers whatever you are whereever you are...)

Opponent team was from Kerala... Nithya.  Actually Keralites living in Chennai.

I couldnt join u coz i'm having severe throat infection and cold and also it was raining yesterday,my younger one couldnt go to school,i was cribbing at home that i couldnt make it there....

Hey  Cmoms,

It was my pleasure to be with our smart Cmoms and to cheer them up. Being a witness of the whole show, I would say that our team played really really well. It was only bcoz the opponents were very strong that we cudnt make it to the jackpot. Each step took by our team was right in every sense, and there was no goofups at all in the whole show,  I would say.

Bhavani, Sayee, Aish, and Nisha:You made us all proud and Kudos to you folks!

Our brave moms showed lot of confidence there, they were pretty cool and relaxed in front of the camera. When you see the show in TV, you will also agree to this. 

Moreover, we got a good platform to showcase CMoms  and our team did a wonderful job in talking abt the site and the chart was also awesome ( Great going, Hasina!). We made our presence felt, for sure!

All of them were looking so gorgeous in the saree and with those jewels etc, which is pretty evident from the snaps!

I thoroughly enjoyed being there and will be waiting for more such events!

You r all glittering, This is the winning photo, what else do we need. i know pretty well, participating is also a step in the winning phase. I also has participated in Kasu mazhai Programme in Raj plus three years back, In that the final round there will be a cylindrical box in which you need to stand  and the air will be blown from downwards and you need to collect as much as currency notes as you could, they were all hundred and fiftys and a few thousands, and many fake notes. I fourtunately collected 3500 bugs, still not recieved in hand, these are just to show an eye wash. Any way good going for all of you

I am also ready to join you to give treat for all the jackpot participants. Do not miss me. I felt bad that i could not even view their reharsal or in any way to help them in organizing for the jackpot.

From all the contestants messages , i can feel how much they would have enjoyed and speaking with Kushboo would have been also interesting as i had felt it with that female sangeetha ( but she was too fussy as she was not yet a mom)

Hey ...first of all congrats to all u guys who participated...Participation is jus next to winning...So don worry gals....

But this blog brought back all my memories of my participation in Jackpot...After being part of Mrs Homemaker contest 2007,4 of us from Mrs Homemaker had the opportunity to participate in Jackpot...Let me tell u I have heard that people apply for Jackpot and wait for 1- 2 yrs for a call ltr!!!!

Unlike our chennaimoms team we din do any practice/ rehearsal except for for a discussion on what to wear and who will lead the team and who will go for the jackpot round....

I had the opportunity to lead the team....We did go to the jackpot round ...but lost the jackpot by a mere 11 points...we got 0 for one of the qns!!!! But let me tell u, it was absolutely a wonderful exp....I was jus bowled over by the way Kushboo handled the entire show...With my little exp in hosting shows , i was jus awestruck by the way she was takg over the entire show....

End of the day everythg is an exp....and im happy that we all r fortunate enough to have got that exp...
