Kaju Katri
Ingredients for Kaju Katri
Cashew Nuts - 1 cup
Sugar - ½ cup
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Hot water - 1 cup
Silver foil - 1
Preparation of Kaju Katri
1. Boil water and transfer it to a bowl and soak cashew nuts in the hot water for 1 hour.
2. Drain out water and keep aside.
3. Mix sugar and cashew nuts in a mixer and grind a smooth paste.
4. Heat pan and pour ghee and add the cashew paste.
5. Reduce the flame and stir continuously to avoid lumps until the paste becomes thick.
6. In a plate apply ghee and greese it.
7. Spread the mixture evenly in the plate.
8. Allow it to cool for 30 mins.
9. Press the silver leaf on top.
10. After cooling cut them into medium diamond shapes.
Delicious Kaju Katri is now ready to eat.
