Hi Cmoms,
I am so happy today! God knows how much I was polambufying to all whom I spoke to after my son started his LKG on June 11th. He was crying to go to school and y'day was worst. From yday he had to go in school van and as soon as he saw the van, he ran inside our house and was throwing so much tantrum to wear the shoes. We literally had to lift him and make him sit in the school van. We all were very disturbed yday and didn't know what to do. He was not even touching his lunch at school.
Only yday he had finished half the noodles we packed for him. I was surprised to see his tiffin box light when I checked after he came back home. Today morning my husband had to go out of station and I didn't know how I'll manage to make my son go to school today. But he didn't throw any tantrums, he was smiling and actually waited for the van for 2 min and then he waved bye and got into the van. I had to pinch myself to just realise its not a dream. I am sooooooooo happy today 
I wish he continues to go to school with a smile and eats his lunch

Wow.. Good Bhavani.. Thats really cool.. I may not be going through the actually tension behind it so much coz, this fellow has always been ready to get out of the house very much...
Find out what motivated him to be so eager today and develop on that.. he will definitely continue.. and am glad he has taken off that tension on you :) and that too when you were trying to manage all alone! pathu. dishti suthi podu :) un kanne pattura pogudu :)
Just for info, my son's girlfriend I talked about during our meet last time, is changed to a different section this year.. He was feeling bad initially, but now he has found a new friend.. and he keeps saying she is so soft mom :) and guess what, she too likes him a lot..
so I know, there wont be any trouble for me for one more year.. Its good to have a son who is a true gemini :)

touchwood ! we had the same experience here too...
not just girlfriend.. his whole gang went to the other division.. they were a fivesome.. four boys and one girl.. he was so upset the first day.. but then he was made the class monitor and that boosted his spirits! and till last year, cleaning and polishing shoes, sharpening pencils, packing his school bag all were done by us... now he does everything systematically and KEEPS THINGS IN PLACE once he comes from school!!!!! He says if the monitor does not do things properly.. how can he ask the other kids to do..!
but still his teacher called me and said these "FIVES" still meet in the intervals and they sit together for lunch!
Yes Bhavani,they'll start expecting their school,if they've very good experiences there and hav their very ow frnds with whom they can play!

Good that your son is all set to school so fast...
I wanted to share that S.day my Son was given a sticker " EMPTY LUNCH BOX" 
in this past one year ....he never did this ... continuosly for 4 days he bringing his lunch box empty... very rarely he finishes his lunch...
his class teacher has given this sticker ...I told him see..if u eat daily like this then they will give u more stickers... immediate reply from him ...this sticker is not looking so good...i don't want this sticker...
Indirectly he says i will not eat properly ...
am waiting to see all this things and experience it..... hmmmm two more years to go...
