My Daughter's First Work

Tags : My Daughter's First Work

Let me be the first one to post. I was wondering if my daughter will start colouring at this age cos I've never seen her do it. This is a page from one of her school books.

Thanks Nish. Now she does it so well at times and at times she does it haphazardly. But I am relieved

 Thanks Bhavani.

A few days I made her sit by my side and I coloured a few pages on another book. Then I bought her a big 64 colured crayon set and spread it in front of us. Then I took a book and gave her the school book and I said lets c who's colouring it better. She tried doing it fast but I told her that the one who colours best will be applauded. I kept reminding her that she shud not colour outside the borders. She did it slowly and neatly.

The only thing is that we should not hold their hand, else they will always expect it and that in turn makes them lazy.
