Blood pressure is the force of the blood pushing the walls of the arteries that carry blood from heart to various of the body.Blood pressure is not constant throughout the day.Blood pressure is very common in older people and hereditary. High blood pressure, as it is more commonly known, is regarded as a silent killer. The fast pace of life and the mental and physical pressures caused by the increasingly industrialised and metropolitan environments have a role to play in the rise in blood pressure. The highest pressure reached during each heart beat is called systolic pressure, and the lowest between two beat is known as diastolic pressure. Most young adults have blood pressure around 120/80. It increases normally with age, even going upto 160/90.
The following are the remedies for high blood pressure:
1.Curry leaves are also commonly used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Take 35-40 green curry leaves and boil in a glass of water. Keep it aside and allow it to cool. Drink this solution in empty stomach in early morning.
2.Add a tsp of pepper in half a cup of warm water. Drink this mixture whenever there is an increase in the blood pressure.
3.Carrot and spinach are also helpful in reducing high blood pressure. Extract fresh juice from carrot and spinach and drink a glass of it twice a day.mixing of garlic and honey will improve blood pressure.
4.Garlic is regarded as an effective means of lowering blood pressure,relieving the symptoms of dizziness, numbness, shortness of breath, and the formation of gas within the digestive tract.
5.Walking on the grass for 15-20mins improves blood circulation and keeps the blood pressure normal.Amla taking daily with milk will makes lower blood pressure.
6.Watermelon,lemon,raw vegetable juices,potatoes are great remedies for high blood pressure.A tablespoon each of fresh indian gooseberry juice and honey mixed together should be taken every morning in this condition.
