If you or your children experience motion sickness while travelling Sea-Bands may help to reduce your nausea letting you enjoy your journey again. Sea-Bands can be worn prior to travel, or at the onset of nausea, and unlike most drugs or tablets, Sea-Bands can start working very quickly and have no side effects. There is no limit to the length or number of times Sea-Bands can be used.
Women’s susceptibility to motion sickness increases with the use of oral contraceptives and during menstruation or pregnancy.
Children under two years of age are rarely affected by travel sickness, although their susceptibility increases rapidly between the ages of three and 12 years, after which it gradually declines.
Approximately 58% of children suffer from travel sickness when in a car journey.
For many pregnant women, morning sickness is not just a problem in the morning. In some cases ‘morning sickness’ can last all day, and can range from feeling nauseaous to actually vomiting many times a day. In many countries, up to 80% of women will suffer from ‘morning sickness’ or pregnancy sickness and Sea-Bands may help to reduce both feelings of nausea, and may reduce vomiting as well. Some women wear their Sea-Bands only when they feel nauseous during their pregnancy, whilst others are known to start wearing them as soon as they know they are pregnant.
Did you know?
Up to 30% of pregnant women may take time off from work due to nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
For many women, nausea and vomiting is at its worst between weeks 7 and 13 of their pregnancy. After this point nausea and vomiting should start to tail off and cease.

Hi,
I had severe morning sickness with my first pregnancy for the first three months and I never found anything that helped out it was horrible. But i think sea band tablet is good for morining sickness. my sister used the sea band tablet now for her morning sickness and she is 6 months now.
Hi,
i have faced nausea and bit of heartburn, when i was 6months pregnent. That time, i mean when i was pregnent i use sea band for stop my nausea..
Hi friends,
An Italian study found that morning sickness was reduced in 70% of women who used Sea-Bands. and i I learned that sea band become effective within 5 minutes even if nausea has already started
I learned that contrary to common belief, the resulting nausea is not “all in the mind” and motion sickness is experienced by children and adults alike.
i had severe all day sickness the whole 9 months with both my children and my doctor suggest me to take sea band for controlling morning sickness and neasa. after taking that sea band tablet it was totally arrested.
With my first, I had the worst morning sickness! I wore my sea bands everyday but I don't think it did anything... I never took them off until 16 weeks when it started to disappear.
I am already in my second trimester and this past week my ms has actually gotten a lot worse. With my last pregnancy I was sick until 28 weeks, but not severe like this. I haven't been able to keep anything down at all and if I stand up I get really dizzy and black out. I am thinking that the sea band is probably going to be a waste of money b/c nothing else has worked, not even the phenergan. I am hoping to ask my doctor about Zofran tomorrow, but I don't know if my insurance will cover it and it costs around $15/pill. Princess, Zofran is probably what you were taking, that seems to be right around the same price. I think that at this point I will pay for them without insurance just to get relief... I am thinking it won't be much longer before I get dehydrated if I don't get something to stay down soon. Thanks for your input ladies.
I had really bad nausea and it comes and goes it waves..its horrible! Nothing seems to help either but i do have some sea bands that i have used, they did seem to take "the edge" off. It did not completely go away but it did help. I learned that Sea-Bands work like this: a plastic stud is attached to the inside of the wrist band which exerts pressure and stimulates the P6 (or Nei-Kuan) acupressure point. It has been proven that pressure on this point relieves nausea and vomiting.
I too had severe morning sickness, the sea bands just hurt my wrists and left them feeling raw so I could really wear them too long. They just never worked out for me, but did help. My dr told me to take dramimine and when that stopped working he prescibed something for me. The dramimine worked for a while.Providing Sea-Bands are looked after they will be effective for several years!
Sea band did not work for me. ask your doctor to prescribe zofran. It's expensive but I'm lucky that my insurance covered the generic version. during the worst weeks it helped but didn't completely take away my nausea.
thank you all guys. you are all sharing very good information about sea band tablet.
