Just wanted to add that entry to the event will be by purchasing a ticket. The value of the ticket will be based on the budget. You may also bring along your mother/sisters/friends and any other relatives that you may wish to on purchase of a ticket. Please join this group so you can view and respond to regular updates.

Hey count me in i will be happy to help in all possible ways but to be specific let me take up arranging gifts for children will surely make it up for the next meet, buzzy / ssb please update me on the posts related to this regularly as I will not have blog access in office

So far only responses from the group that met! except Uma ofcourse.

Uma thanks a lot for volunteering for the gifts, you can surely take up that and anything else you think you can manage.

Do we have to alot a job to you!!! You are already the head,that means you are the one responisble for everything.

We all are just trying to help you!!!!!

There are a few more ideas i would like to post here:

• Since we are anyway planning to have a talent show and fashion show for the moms, why dont we club both and make it as Ms. Chennai mom contest.I am sure Bhavani will come up with some great sponsor who can be the "Unbiased" Judge.


• I still feel it is required to start seperate blogs for1.calling in the participants 2. For tickets 3. for arrangements. So that those not volunteering and only joining us for the bash are not confused each time we discuss something new.


• Apart from the shows that we have decided if anyone is willing to give any group performance, like Sayee's Favoourite "Group dance" I think we can manage a slot for that.

Group dance please....one day for practice would do  It is always better to be in group ..eheheehh

• Gals One thing I would like to mention is that let's not have extravagant plans and preparations the first time round..


• Not being spoiltsport ..but jus wanting the whole thing to be enjoyable


• All of us are moms and are shuffling a couple of cards all in the same time


• All the meets we have had we just chat, play games, eat and get back home....which was very relaxing


• How this meet is going to be special is that we will be having jus one more agenda - which is to bring out the talents of the moms involved


• Why we are making it a paid event is because it saves the accountant ( that is hasina and me) the trouble of coming around collecting money after the event and we want to be sure the moms will come since this involves booking in advance of hall and food and getting the gifts


• Join in , do what u love to do ( for a difference ) and do it leisurely.....


• the bash is a total hit

Ok ...i discussed with league club regarding the hall in the first floor, which has DJ lights, stage etc.

• The buffet will be 321/- per head (including 2 veg and 2 non veg)


• The Atchaya hall in the ground floor is booked.


• The hall is charged at Rs 5000/- negotiable (coz of DJ lights, stage, music system)

• It can accomodate Max 60 people

My hubby dear is against all womens bash.....he wants to come.

I can also lend my hand in designing and decoration.

Can you provide details about the venue, so that I can join if possible... (I am not aware of much places in chennai)

The venue is yet to be decided Ramalakshmi.....we are looking at cost effective places. You certainly should try and join us and we will give you directions to the place that the event will be held. Please feel free to go through the other blogs and respond as well.

very interesting.i like to join too.i am ready for anything either dance(solo or group), decorations, fashion show ,etc . ladies  only will be very comfortable and free i guess.
