First Aid for Heart Attack &.Fracture.

 

1. Heart attack:

·        Have the person sit down, rest, and try to keep calm.

·        Ask if the person takes any chest pain medication.

·        Give him the medicine if any.

·        Call for the doctor.

·        If he is totally collapsed and if you cannot feel the breathing.

·        Immediately call for a ambulance.

·        Until the ambulance comes.

·        Check his pulse, if there is no pulse.

·        Place your palm on the chest and With your other hand directly on top of first hand, Depress sternum.

·        Perform 15 compressions to every 2 full breath into victims mouth.

·        Repeat until the ambulance comes.

2. Fracture

There are two types of fractures. 1. Simple Fracture and 2. Compound Fracture.

  • First check whether it is a open or closed fracture.
  • check for pain, which usually accompanies a fracture
  • If it is a open fracture control bleeding before treatment
  • Rinse and dress the wound
  • Check the breathing 
  • Notice if the injured area is swollen.
  • Apply ice to reduce pain / swelling
  • Check the injured extremity for pulse.
  • A pulseless arm or leg indicates an emergency requiring immediate surgical care.
  • Don’t try to massage the fractured area.
  • Call for a doctor.
