Hi Moms,

We all know make up is important but more important is the removal of the make up. Especially eye make up.. Since the area around the eyes is very delicate and sensitive, special care should be taken to avoid blackening and wrinkles around the eyes which can occur very soon if proper care is not taken. So removal of the eye make up is very very important.

Here are some of the tips I have collected for the removal of the eye make up.

  • Apply a few drops of eye make-up remover on a cotton ball. Olive oil or vaseline can be used instead, as these are equally effective and easily available. Wet the cotton ball properly.
  • Work on one eye at a time, close your eye and press the cotton ball lightly on the lid and lashes. Let it stay for a minute, so tat the make-up remover or the oil can work its way through the layer of the makeup.
  • After a minute, gently swipe the cotton over the eye in a downward direction to ensure all the make-up is wiped out.
  • Open the eyes and clean any residual make up under the lashes.
  • Baby Oil is also a better option since it works much better than the make up remover and is a cheaper alternative too.
  • Same cotton balls should never be used for both the eyes since it can spread the infection if in one eye to the other.
  • Avoid using soap, as it doesnt cleanse the skin throughly and it is a bit harsh on the skin and area around the eyes.

I am surely going to make sure that i remove my eye make everytime i go out from now on. Hope u guys will also take care in future.    :)
