Butter Chicken
Ingredients
· 1 kg – Chicken
· ½ liter: Curd
· 1 tsp: Ginger garlic paste
· 2 tsp: Red chilli powder
· 200 gm: White butter
· ½ kg: Tomato puree
· ½ tsp: Cumin seeds
· ½ tsp: Sugar
· 100 gm: Fresh cream
· 4-5: Sliced green chillies
· ½ tsp: Crushed fenugreek leaves
· Salt to taste
Method
For marinade
· Mix 1 tsb red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt as per your taste, and curd together.
For Roasting the chicken
1. After the marinate is ready mix the raw chicken in the marinade and keep it in the refrigerator for minimum 2 hours.
2. Then roast the marinated chicken in a tandoor about 5-10 minutes till it is three fourth done.
For Butter Chicken Gravy
1. Heat 100 gms of white butter in pan.
2. Add cumin seeds, tomato puree, sugar, 1 tsb red chilli powder and salt. Mix it well.
3. Now add the prepared chicken, 100 gms white butter, fresh cream, sliced green chillies and crushed fenugreek leaves.
4. Cook till chicken is done.
5. Not Tasty Butter Chicken is ready to eat.
6. Serve hot with rice, naan, or chappathi.
