Aloo Paratha

 

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour – ¼ kg
  • Potatoes           - 3
  • Onions             - 2 (Chopped)
  • Ginger  - 1” piece (Finely chopped)
  • Garlic               - 4 pods (Finely chopped)
  • Green Chillies   - 2 (Finely Chopped)
  • Chilly Powder   - ½ tsp
  • Garam Masala  - ¼ tsp
  • Oil                    - 1 tsp
  • Butter/Ghee      - 2 tsp
  • Corriander leaves – few
  • Salt as per taste

 

For making the dough

 

  • Make a dough of Whole Wheat flour (Atta) by adding little water and salt to it.

 

For preparing the stuffings

 

  • Boil and mash the potatoes
  • Heat Pan popur oil in it add Onions, Garlic, ginger and green chillies fry for 2 mins or until the onion turns golden brown.
  • Now add mashed potatoes add salt, garam masala and chilly powder mix and leave it for another 2 mins and remove from the fire.
  • Add coriander leaves and mix well with the masala and let it cool.

 

For preparing Aloo parathas

 

  • Make small rolls of the dough and make medium size of chapatti and fill the masala make a ball shape.
  • Now roll it slightly.
  • Heat a pan and apply little butter or ghee and cook the chapattis.
  • Serve it hot with Raitas or Tomato Sauce.
