This is savith from chennai and this is prob my first blog!!!

Ours is a long term relationship ................................yes its a love cum arranged marriage..............................

my story in short.............

We know each other for 13 years but we were in love for past 7 years........... and we got married in 2007 (after all fights and arguments with our family) but somehow we managed our family and with their blessings (atleast that z wat we believe)  we got married at June 18th 07

Please note: We both belong to a conservative family and also our place is a small town we never went out before our marriage. We were neighbours so i used to go their home and thatz how we both become friends  then lovers and now husb and wife.

My native is mettupalayam which is  very near to OOty so always it was dream to have my honeymoon in OOty (my muntu also like it lot so we planned trip to Ooty)

Immediately after 3 days from our wedding we planned our honemoon at june 21 (after alll formal temple visit and inlaws visits!!!)

 Day 1:

My muntu (latest name) loves bike riding a lot so he decided to take me in a bike Can u imagine a bike ride for 47km that too in a hill station immediately after the marriage I was little bit afraid that i was praying  all gods to takecare (since its a lv mrg i had already got enough comments from everywhere so i was little afraid of it)

my muntu friends too worried and they followed us in a car...................... but we both were  alone travelling too fast in a chill road inhaling eucalyptus tree smell....................... that was really romantic ride.................................... )

We stopped at some view points and took photos again we start our ride............................. i was putting double side hugging my muntu..................... It took almost 4 hours to reach Ooty !!!!!!!!!(Normally it takes 1 hr !!)

Then we went to guest house kept our things there and my muntu's friends and ourseleves went to a dinner.................... after that they left us in guest house (of course with llot and lot of advices!!!!!!) and they returned to mettupalayam

This guest house looks like a normal 2 BHk serviced  apartment (it has kitchen and other things)

 Though i know my muntu for 13 years i was little afraid (bcoz i was lonely with a man that too in a different place)  we spent almost 4 days and 3 nites in OOty each day was Adventourous........................

 Day 2:

                    We woke up around 10 'o Clock and i just opened the screen window to see how OOty looks!!!!!!!!  I was shocked to see heavy rain outside the window  so we decided to wait  to go out after rain stops .............. we both felt hungry........................ (thank god!!! my muntus frnds gave me a milk packet last nite) i prepared a tall glass of coffee and milk (Ah ah......... that was my first cooking!!!!!!!!!) 

 We waited till 1'o clock but rain didnt stop ................... so we decided to go out for a lunch we went out .....................again in our bike..............to a shop nearby and we both bought a rain coat for us (This was my first gift from my muntu after marriage.................hahaha................................)

Then we had a great lunch........................ and we planned to go to paikara falls............................(again there we had booked a guest house to spent that nite........)

Again Pykara is about 20kms from OOty .............we started around 4 from ooty to pykara it was raining heavily we didnt bother that ...................... it was a rainy ride (we were drenched  wet.................. and my hands are shivering in that cold....................)

 we reached paikara around 5'o clock .................... it was a beautiful guest house in the middle of  a forest , over seeing dam’s great wall. The air blew from the bottom of the wall and was moving to the top and hiting us….  a terrible feeling suddenly crept into my mind  

the place looked like 7'0clock due to the weather............ the guest house was situated with huge huge trees surrounding .................. and i hear "hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" "hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" noises due to its climate when we went there ................ there was no power .............................. that guest house is looked after by a cook (who really looks scary as we see in some tamil movies) the guest house was really dark (no power due to weather some tree broke in electrical post)  even at 5 'o clock................ i was very much afraid i started to tell my muntu let us go go...........he told its a safe place dont worry but i was not comfortabl .............. so he told ok lets move the cook offered us some coffee................................... there was no one around that place it llook s like a haunted place........................but the house was really a nice one

again after coffe My muntu wass saying this is really a nice place we wil have a different experience but i told no no we will go ..............bcoz at 5'o clock it was looking like 7'oclock in bed room and there is no power it will become totally dark after 6 so i told we will move..................  my face turned white in fear.............. my hubby still used to comment on it

Then we again started our bike ride towards ooty ....................... again with a rainy ride we started singing..........................  loudly "singalathu chinna kuyilae ...............(frm punnagai manan) then sahana...........(sivaji)........................munbae va(sillunu oru kadal) etc etc.................................

and we reached ooty by 7 ........................my muntu booked a honeymoon suite in sulivan court (which was really a romantic one)

By seeing us the roomkeepers started giving towels and other things(we were completely wet!) then we went to the room changed our dress ........put heater ......................... then went out to dinner.................................

after dinner we came by 10 to room i orderd milk and i told muntu 'i just sleep for 10mins u wake me up after milk comes " and slept!!!!!!

when i woke up it was 10 nex t morning ...................... i was shocked and i saw milk in the table untouched.........................................and my muntu was sleeping like a baby curdled around white bedsheet

 Day 3:

Again i saw outside through window the rain has not yet stopped..................

oh that was a tired day we both slept peacefully and had complete rest only on that nite since marrige .Almost after 10 days we slept only on that day (busy with our marriage prep and with adjusting our family members).

At 11 we were ready and went to have breakfast ..........the hotel was making arrangement for lunch ...........................  .......they prepared spl sanwinch for us (though they do nt have anything to give at that time)

 we didnt have any outing till now except our bike ride.............. we were really disappointed...................... so went out to the hotel (the hotel people gave us a big picnic umberlla) we just went a walk in the garden outside the hotel (walking in the rain day holding   u..............................) and we took snaps ........................ it was reallly cold........................................................

then we came back and played table tennis in the hotel..................................... again went out for lunch (of course raining........................) again came back...................................with lot of snacks and cool drinks

we sat near the window opened the screen and i wrote some love notes in the glass window to my muntu(since it was raining....... the window was wet) we hold each other hand s and started talking our love memories

Again we went out for dinner came back  and......................

 Day 4:

 When we woke up i was sad bcoz our honeymoon is over we have to leave ooty by evening(we have a marriage to attend that evening)

i was fighting with muntu to stay in ooty for some more days (we didnt go out even for a single place........................)

my muntu promised me to take me out for some other time since its very important to attend the marriage

Around 12 o clock  the rain stopped.................................

 we went out to ooty and found many trees has been fallen ........................... roads are blocked here and there........... we went to boat house to have a beautiful boating............but we found it was closed........... due to more water.........

then we went to rose garden and we had our first outing snaps.............................. 

 we spent about 3hrs in garden ...........talking teasing pushing ..................................

then we start to leave ooty around 5 o clock ...................... . again our bike ride starts .................

it become dark and while coming down i saw the moon following us............... and tall trees ..................................... and i started singing "unna vida.................. intha ulagathil osantha thu onnum illa onnum illaaaaaa(from virumandi)

and we reached mettupalayam around 8 O clock!!!!!!

(till date our parents think went in car )

when we came down everybody was asking too many questions .......... we didnt understand............then only we came to know that

• there was no power in ooty until now (the hotel was in backup………… we didn’t knw)
• countless trees have fallen causing lot of damage
• road was blocked for 3 days
• Ooty was entirely cut away… no network coverage..
• People said it was one of the worst climates

….. they knew all this from TV … we dint know if any of this happened!!

Still now when i hear ooty .........i remember our honeymoon days ....................though i know my muntu................ we went out first alone only in our honeymoon .......................................though we din’t go out .................. we had a great time there.................till now i think how did we spent 3 whole days almost in a room ..................but i still feel that time is not enough....................................................(it was not like 3 days at all it was almost like 3seconds)

Though we didnt go out we were really enjoying being together............................ without any responsibility,tension etc etc..................................we were all alone only with our love.................................

my friends used to tease us"only u both had a real honeymoon!!!!!!!!!!"

As my muntu promised ......................he took me to 2nd honeymoon to Alapuzha at 19 sep2009 which was my bday gift  ..........................................................................but not in bike this time ..........................

still now we used to have long ride in bike ....................though we have a car..............i like sitting at the back and chatting with him...........................................................we love to spend hours together simply talking ..........teasing ............... and admiring each other...................................................
