She parceled it from Tirupati.. for my birthday. My parents were as shocked as i was, wondering how her parents agreed to give her that much money...! But her parents were very fond of me and our frndship.. It was my 1st ever saree... I still treasure it. I wore that saree to her wedding too..!

I love this question...!! As a constant (day)dreamer, i hv always wondered about the twists and turns life takes ur thru... Its like going boating in an unknown river, full of tides as well as breathtaking beauty, and deep waters... U never know whats going to come next... Even what your destination will be, though u do have a plan in mind...

God makes the ultimate plans, and he plans best...!

Coming back, there have been a few incidents, but the one, has to be my marriage.. Now, marriage is a life changing exp for everybody.. But mine came with an almost filmy twist...

I wonder if i shld discuss it here...

After we got engaged, we used to chat over phone... Somewhere, somehow, differences of opinion kept cropping up...At one point, it became so bad, that, in a fit of anger, i called off the engagement... More than me, my hubby(to be) was crestfallen...he couldnt believe it. His parents were furious at my 'thimiru"...

Well, after usual samaadhaanams, (my parents, surprisingly, stood by me, and said any decision from me would be acceptable to them..!), again i spoke to him, and he assured me that everything wud be alrite, we wud be fine together, more importantly for me then, that nobody from his house would discuss this issue(of me calling it off...). After some more hiccups, we finally got married, and that incident is completely forgotten now..

I hv many times wondered, what wud hv happened had i stood my ground, then...I just cannot imagine anybody else in my life... I wonder too, what lesson God intended to teach me, with that incident...
