1. Why dont you take me in as a permanent event manager for cmoms :P

Well seriously speaking, I feel that event management requires a lot of networking which i am realy bad at! All that i am doing now is from my experience of arranging such programes at my very lively apartments in Bangalore ("Skyline city") but as a profession I have no clue!!!

2. For this i would just say that "Behind every successful mom is a great child", If anjanee had not messed up the background the poster would not have looked as good :)

a) Which single adjective describes sudha best?

b) What habit of yours which you try to get rid of and not able to? ('obsessed to Anju' ruled out as an answer - we all know that)

c) Life, at times, becomes monotonous. How do you motivate/energize yourself?

d) What do you like best about CMoms and what do you think you want to change in Cmoms site?

a) I used to pray i should not miss any of Manasa's milestones and should be around - her first step, first bold word........(My husband went for a trip and few days after, my daughter took her first step; poor soul - he used to crib about that often)

You have mentioned that C Moms could do something to keep the old members active while the new ones keep joining. If you were the admin, what steps would you have taken?

You seem to be more active on the site specially when you get enlightenend with an event idea......why so? What is that one thing which will keep you glued to C Moms? I specially miss those commedy kalandha blogs from your end specially your Valentines Blog. Just loved the humour in your writing.

Art is the only thing I am passionate about. But I have left it all after anjanee. The only time I touched my brush was while I designed the POH backdrop!!!!

sudha..yeh dil mange more....i just became active in cmoms and this event came up....could not participate much....want to meet up with more moms.....guess that's why i am asking for the next.....yes, you guys should have been exhausted a bit...that too hunting for sponsors, posters, coordination !! i agreewe should give a break....

Answers for you:

1.how important is family support when you plan & execute a social event

Everything depends on your family! without which you wont even get to log in to the site.

 

And that is what I was telling Shobana,that all the credit for running the show successful goes to her daughter, who supported her by not disturbing her mom till she was back from the event.

My Husband, enjoyed me not disturbing him at all.

Anjanee my kid kept falling sick but never once was she uncontrolably cranky which she usualy is.

My mom in law has always been supporting me, and this time too she was with me. If her health would permit she would have been one of the volunteers too.

My mom came all the way from blore to see our programe.

My sis kept clapping through out the show so that the audience do not sleep of.

My father in law ofcourse gave the max support by helping us with the venue and fix a person for stage and audio system.

My sis in law and her husband helped me in puting up the decoration and then packin it back.

My niece was an angle, participated and behaved like a good girld through out the event.

So I have a complete support system you see!!!

Believe it or not IT was AJAY DEVGAN!!!!!

On screen ofcourse i like Amitabh and Rekha! offscreen there cant be imagirnary characters like that dear!!!

Actualy to tell you the truth. i am waiting for the right time. When I am going to try cabbage for the entire week. Remember that is my way of taking revenge. But i dont want to trouble the rest at home. so just waiting...

Here is my answere for you:

The Best quality about a women is ofcourse that she can mould herself in any form. We grow up as daughters, then get married and move on to new house and take care of all like we have known them for ages and then the motherhood, we would have never lifted a baby but we start doing every thing for the little soul as soon as it is born. I am sure our opponents from Mars can never never do dat!

The worst quality is that Women are so indecisive!!! They just cannot deciide on what they want and even if they do they will keep thinking that they could have opted for the other one instead!!!!

Well Bhagvat Gita is always a little confusing!!! Infact all the great Granthas will make you feel like taking sanyasa to seek for the truth!!!

But Sudha's View point is here:

Karma and phala ( fruit) are interlinked.

So when you are doing something the fruit of it is always with it whether you expect it or not.

The thing is we fail to see it at times.

Simple, when I do something for someone I may say that I do not expect and I do not want anything in return.But I have already got something in return. The act of doing good has given me a self satisfaction. The act of making someone happy has made me happy. Thats why I chose to do good? didnt I? So where is my effort being fruitless.

On the other hand. When I am do something wrong. I feel miserable. Never in peace. So that is the fruit of what I have done.

So I believe that whatever I am doing. I am getting something in return. It is upto me to see it or just be blind.

One example:

When all of us volunteered for the event. We never cared for what we would be getting in return. Some of us may have felt that we have got much more than we expected. why did wwe feel so ?because we know we had made the day memorable for many and that feeling is the fruit for our karma!!!

We all appreciated the visible volunteers but there were many whose efforts we may not have mentioned at all but I am sure they are happy too!!!!
