 It is a common belief that if three persons start or go to­gether on a common mission, they would not meet with Good Result .  

If you by chance slip or fall while going out on some work, then stop, stay back for sometime and then go further.. or else you might meet a bigger accident...  

 People are advised to eat sweets and curd, when they go out in search of a job or for appearing at an examina­tion or at an interview, as it would ensure success in their mission. 

 Breaking of Bangles or spilling of turmeric and kumkum is a very bad omen...

 Today I got the experience with Lizard. It fall on my right ear. I feared and shouted. May be Lizard became angry as i was quoted here,  I think...  Very strong Superstition

Do not go out or do something new  during rahu kalam.The Rahu kalam Table has been prepared accordingly, presuming the Sun rise at 6'o clock. Depending upon the local Sun rise time, the Rahu kalam time needs to be adjusted. Calculate the time between sunrise and sunset, and divide it in to 8 equal periods and calculate the rahu kalam period as below for your locality. Rahu kalam is not an auspicious time for starting any new works.Any work started during rahu kalam ends up in problem and disappointment. To perform durga puja in rahu kalam is very auspicious.

They say not to let a widow or a childless women touch a new born baby ... They say it is bad for the baby..

It is also considered to be bad luck if you pass salt to another person. Folks believe that if you throw some salt on the windows and threshold of a new house, you can protect it from the evil eye.

Do not lean a broom against a bed. The evil spirits in the broom will cast a spell on the bed.

If you sweep trash out the door after dark, it will bring a stranger to visit.

If someone is sweeping the floor and sweeps over your feet, you'll never get married.

Never take a broom along when you move. Throw it out and buy a new one.

To prevent an unwelcome guest from returning, sweep out the room they stayed in immediately after they leave.

Breaking a glass bottle  especially on Fridays.. in a bad sign.

If a child is born with teeth he is to be very unlucky not for himself alone but for the whole family.  

 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday and Sunday are good days to wear new clothes. Tuesday and Saturdays are considered bad days.  

 If the left eye of a woman twitches it is not good, and the right eye twitching for a man is also not good. 

 Indians feel happy if a sparrow builds a nest in a new house because it signals good fortune.

  Whenever someone hiccups, it's believed that somebody is discussing or thinking about him or her... 

The laughing Buddha placed opposite the door of a residence or a commercial space, is considered one of the best good luck charms for money, and is known to bring lots of wealth to the residents of the space. Heighten your luck with wealth by rubbing the belly of the Buddha.

 Cutting nails, hair-cutting, shaving or stitching cloth after sun set is a bad practice, (obviously coz of no electricity during old times, doing these in the dark could be dangerous, but its still believed to be a bad practice),

Some people believe that opening umbrella indoors brings bad luck.

 If there is a birth or death in a house, then it is considered that the people of that home cannot be touched totally. Nobody should go into their houes and they should not enter others house  until there is a shubha done at their house after 11 days... 

Floating flowers in water vessel is a good sign of prosperity. This is placed near ur front door.

Eating curd mixed with sugar before an exam or an interview, brings GOOD LUCK !

 We Should not  lending or borrowing after sun set ( ie after lighting the lamp in the evening ) and also in fridays. Esply.. salt and money.

 A bird’s nest in the house, where pregnant woman lives is not to be removed.

Whining of Dog at night is not good, it is considered to bring bad luck to someone in neighbourhood or family.
