I hate the crowd in cinimas. We as a couple and me as an individual watched only 1 movie after 2 yrs of marriage. Then gave another 2 yrs break. Last two yrs we frequent cinimas for the sake of my 4 yr old son....except for 2 all the other movies we watched were children movie........The reason is ME ME ME...I don't like senti , horror, thriller,action. Wonder what category do I like?......Only comedy. If a good comedy movie comes I would definitely watch........

hey buzzy, same pinch... i love movies, i love to watch them at theatres....... i am crazy abt movies as good as shopping. I watch any kinds but i may like only few of them... still i watch for the fun & thrill of watching it. I watch movies of lang which i dont understand too....... wen at school & college, we friends use to watch hindi, telugu, kannada movies and the best part would be how we translate & understand those things.

And a review on VTV.......... wow, i just thought of doing it (for all the c'moms who planned to gother for that movie, I just sw it strdy....... it was a surprise, ticket gifted by my brother to me & my hubby). I just loved the movie & was CRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZYYYYYYYY abt Trisha's character. Of all the movies i watched till date, this was one of the character which was done in the BEST PRACTICAL way. And oh my god, trisha & simbu have so much of talent in them????????? for all the directors & producers who wasted these 2 resources in all masala padamz...... a big kottu.

But cmomz, i would love to watch the movie again....... so we will plan for it anywayz and hit it this weekend.

he will watch hindi movies only for me and i watch english movies only for him. What an understanding u c Even i like english movies but not like my hubby. This made us to enter an agreement.

@deepa : sooper agreement...i made an agreement with hubby that we go for one movie every saturday....first he made it every other saturday...then he made it once a month ....a fight and our agreement is null and void....otherwise its dormant till i adopt the above mentioned process....

ponne agreement r made for null and void which cannot be enforceable. So they take advantage of these agreements.

But thatz how i do shopping too, sometimes 4-5 hrs suthitu i end up not buying anything but the eating expense would have been at least rs 100 (saravana bhavan cofe yum sethu). So we both shld try out this together shopping once (if i loose interest for shopping after this, my husband would happily sponsor any kind of treat for that).

hi buzzy, same thing happens in our home too. i hv to drag my hubby to watch movies convincing him whenever i see him in good mood. for the past one week i am telling him abt VTV but still no green signal from him.i just say my daughter to ask him(she is 4 yrs) but she is not able to pronounce the title of the movie properly.what to do/?

Hey, u know the 1st movie i saw after marriage..? It was Anandam (mammotty, devayani).A story of 4 brothers..

Suprise, surprise, my hubby too has 3 brothers...And more surprise, the second DIL s character(she is a sandakozhi  !) is similar to mine..I m the second DIL in my house too.!!!

We watched plenty of movies in theaters in and around Ambattur then...

Though, now, i swear by multiplexs, and refuse to go to any other theater than a select few...my hubby keeps pulling my leg... "Appo cinema kku pona porum nu enga vennalum varuvey... ippo edhukku indha alattal..."..!!

I recently saw Avatar in Inox.. though i enjoy watching movies, i just cannot digest the prices we have to pay for popcorn...75..?

yes anu, Rs 75 for popcorn is too much. namma pillaigal irukkira thairiyathil thaan they r selling.

And that popcorn would be no better than the 10 Rs popcorn that we get outside (konjam Ghee jaasthiya viduvaan, avalodhaan)...................... its better to go to movies on full stomach - watch out - come out in 3 hrs - go to nice hotel & have the chit chat thing (doesnt apply to buzzy alone)

but anushisha, the popcorn u get in inox in something spl. though the cost is too much u can notice that the kernels of the popcorn will never stick to ur teeth.also  the beginning and end of it will be the same, no harder ones at the bottom.

Hey, hv u eaten at mayajaal..?

angey u hv to buy a coupon(bill) and give it at the next counter, where the girl will give u what s printed in the bill. There is always a rush in that place, so the girl doesnt bother to put the bill inside her counter, after she gives away the orders to the customer.

Once, my hubby paid for and got the coupon, and while he was handing it to me, i missed it(or so i thought..) and found it lying on the counter.. - 2 popcorns and 2 blackforest cakes(thats what hubby had ordered) I gave the bill and got the things.. And turned towards the screen looking for my hubby..I didnt find him...

then, after a few mins, he came, with 2 popcorns and 2 cakes in hand...!!! U know how..!!

And no, i didnt bother to return it. For the atrocious price they charge.. i told myself.. some cheating is okay... Bad Girl...!

hey, this week more chances of getting tickets because of IPL. My cousin saw the movie and she was going on and on about it.

@ Sayee, There is a catch. This weekend, my mom is here, if I bring her she'll have a nice nap through the movie. She's the opposite of me for movies.

I'm  a   movie  buff  too . My  choice , in  theatres ,  DEFINITELY  COMEDY! That   too  with   jam   packed   audience . Even  today ,  i  feel  i  missed  watching   ullathai   allithaa   in  big  screen. And  my  all  time  fav ,  mouna  ragam -  though  not  comic stuff.

Latest    comedy  movie  we  -  friends -  saw ,  was   kandasamy...  it  was  a  big  mokkai  for  us  &  we  enjoyyyyyyyyyed    cracking  at   reactions  and   reactionless   faces   of  our  husbands.  The   row   behind  us  were...but   we  were  like  ' why  blame  us?'

So ,  if   ,  we  gotta   go  for  VTV  ,  i'll   be  put  at  one  end  &  my  friend   pavithra  will  be  put  to  the  other  end  of  the  row .

And ,  theatres  here   are  1  kodumai   and  the  munch-stuff      another   1000 kodumai...sss

Hi buzzy,ninaithathai mudippaval naan naan naan..finally watched VTV today.sorry,to be frank ,i was really getting bored after intermission.Trisha's character was so unstable, saying " yes and no" very often.also the climax, a big yeamattram..i am not able to digest even now.

otherwise, hats off to simbhu..he looks very natural and expressions r too good. even trisha shows her instability thro expressions so well.simbhu's friend ganesh is a down to earth person who makes u laugh at times.

waiting for the review from others too...

Me too had the same feeling... cant digest hte climax, i was envying my friend who saw the movie in Telugu remake YEMAAYA CHESAVU.... it has a happy ending. Also after interval, i was like literally asking Trisha (virtually), kalyanam pannipaiya maatiya, just tell me and i will go...

U know one thing, i watched this movie with my hubby bunking my office jus like in college.. hehehe.... after starting to my office with hubby, sudden plan change and told my boss i am not well, and went ot Mayajaal.... I accept that the theatre is bad, but i still like it coz it was the only place we hang out during college to escape from my brothers.... No pogachal pls...

hey durgha, we too went to mayajaal(on tuesday)..for we were not able to book tickets in inox.it was houseful.even in mayajaal the hall was full. i think lovers may like the movie and find interesting.I made my hubby to take leave for this...By God's grace he did not show any reaction after watching it...

VTV Jooper movie...I loved it...my hubby too...But wholeheartedly i cant watch tat movie...Bcos my son is running n my mind...Payan enna pandrano...alughurano...etc et...My hubby forces me after getting tickets vaa polaam or else if am not cumin its ok ill tear it nu...so athukagave i hve seen film with him..

I am sucker for romantic movies....! I also enjoy an occasional comedy! But, nowadays have cut down on many movies coz we cant take Harsh to all of them.....I dunno who gives these U ratings to movies...

Pleasse include me in any movie plans....! I am all game for this girls!

Movies.. its a craze for me too. but i dont get much time after my son is born. But still i managed to take my 10months old son to the movie 'kutty".Thnk god his appa was not in town dat day. otherwise he never takes risk in taking him in crowd. U see he understands his mum. he too was watching the movie,started crying wen he felt asleep. thoongi elundhu climax hapily climax pathuti veetuku vandhutom. But i always like my childhood where our big family (cousins,aunts,uncles...) go for thirutu night showz..my grandpa doesnt like watching movies esp nite shows.

Shopping..me agn a shopaholic. roaming in tnagar,pondy bazar for min 4hrs and finally wil forget to buy the main stuff for wat i hav gone for..now my only company is my cousin..pavam..i cn trouble only til she gets married. bcoz my hubby dont like roaming in streets.like most of the men.. he dosnt hav patience.

I recenty watched VTV movie in sangam... Went out for a movie with my hubby after a long time ... Leaving my son to my parents and went.. For my surprise the sangam theatre got improved a lot... May be due to i am very rare to go there.. But the movie was awesome.. Esp., second part of the film is just superb..... Feelings a pochu!.... A very good movie for those who had broke their first love

I enjoyed the movie........................ U people dont miss it!
