Surprised??? Why Labour Day??? I say why not...

Indian culture traditionally has been restricting women’s access to work, however unknowingly women work the most in this country. They not only are working in fields, construction sites, technical jobs, specialist jobs, glamorous jobs, educational jobs but also as the heads of companies, Members of parliament and head of the state! However even today a lot of her effort is not accounted for in the statistics and in the GDP. Sad but true.

Let’s dedicate the month of May to showcase the multi-talented, multi-faceted and multi-tasking side of women.

Please share pics of you in office, or some achievement or simply how you juggle between all the house work and kids! Create a collage if you want to… but let it be about “you” this time!

Have uploaded my new profile pic...

This is what it stands for:

On the left side, the two pics are from an event our company held during Christmas for the children's of prisoners at an NGO. We sang carols for them and one colleague dressed as Santa. That’s me… singing in light blue top. This was a really moving experience for me as we are always working towards increasing brand awareness and adding value to clients; but for the first time we added value to ourselves by doing something different. We even held carol singing practice before the final performance!

On the right side, the two pics are from my first international trip, the pic below is infront of Korea’s Mayor office. The second one is with some journalist friends with whom I went for the trip. Here I was part of team India in an international platform and was proud of it!
