Paintings by K.C. Nagarajan. Mr.K.C.Nagarajan was born on 10th June, 1946 in Tamilnadu. He achieved his fine arts diploma and post diploma from the Govt. College of Fine Arts, Chennai. He has been a member of Cholamandal Artist Village , Madras since 1967 to 1970. Then he joined the Govt.College of Arts & Crafts, Chennai as an Art Master. He also worked as Principal in the Govt. College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam for 3 years and completed his service in the year 2004. At present he is working as a freelance artist at his own studio in Chennai. He has won the Tamil Nadu Oviam Nunkalai Kuzhu Award in the year 1992. Tamil Nadu Oviam Nunkalai Kuzhu conferred Kalai Chemmel Award in March, 2010 and the All India Fine Arts & Crafts society New Delhi honoured vettiran artist award in March, 2010. He has participated in many state level exhibitions and has done many one man shows, he has also attended wood carving camps.
