Once you start giving solid food, de_worming becomes necessary.childs health is very much connected to this. so,please,dont delay it. But atleast for the first few years, use medicines recommended by yr Dr. You can do this(consult the dr) over the phone itself, no?

Pls consult your children specialist. Take the advis of the dr. and dont get medicines from pharmacy without prescription of a dr. They usually use Zentel susp or tab depending on the age/weight of your kids. Hope this info is useful to ya! bye

When my son was around 2yrs old, my dr recommended using de-worming medicine. He prescribed Zentel suspension. It's 10ml bottle. He asked us to give 5ml first and then after 15 days we have to give balance 5ml. It is recommended for every 6 months.

It is important that u give deworming medicines. Along with kids who ever uses the same toilet should also take the same. In homeopathy you get drops which all of you can take. It is very effective. Though this is a very old question just read and felt this wud be helpful to you

Just came across this post now... Even I've not done any deworming for Umar  .. Did you start with Zentel or consulted your pediatrician before giving it to your son.  .. Plz... Lemme know....? 

i asked my pediatrician and he suggested for zentel. Ask your pediatrician about de-worming.

I started de-worming at 3 yrs for my elder son and at 1 yr for my younger son.

anudev deworming is done after 2 years and it is repeated every 6 months.

My 9 and 1/2 months baby is suffering by pin worms.And doctor prescribed a drops........We are very hygenic ...Bot dont know what might be the cause for pin worms to 9and 1/2 month old baby.She is only 7 kg......Any advice please.We started solid(idly and dhal rice) before one month.......Not started aavin milk and all.Can we start aavin,ghee,egg......

frm 9th month onwards..tht s yellow part of egg only... u can gv rasam n curd also..n give

cooked veg's n fruits like apple n banana...consult ur doctor also...

 u can give ur child ABD WHICH Is easily available at any medical store..but consult family doctor before.... but then to i can suggest you some home remedy u can give ur child pineapple regularly pineapple kill worms u can  give jaggery(gud) to ur kid on daily basis with chapati they also help in killing worms.
