Getting Rid of Wet Paint Smell

Hi All, Ive just painted my living room. It smells of wet paint. Can anybody suggest how to get rid of the paint smell, becos, it affects my FIL much with his wheezing/asthma problem.

hi ndhi, you need to put some Vinegar in a hard nut surface shell. you can also put in in a earthern pot. but dont put it in a plastic container. i think it has some chemical reaction. leave it for 2 days overnight. Each day u pore out the vinegar and refill with new vinegar. After 2 days, you will find that the smell is completely gone.

Hey Nidhi, how are you dear! While I appreciate the above reply of gaima, i think i too can suggest you something. Well, now if you open that room which was painted almost 30 days or 45 days back, you wont have any smell at all. That is the answer I was wanting to give to you. you know after 45 days, when you answer this question, the smell is completely gone. how is it. :) Kutty
