hi ,this is a normal charge for most of the play schools/pre schools  as much as i know because my daughter 2.5 yrs also goes to a a preschool with similar fee structure.

My son is also admitted in a play school costing 30K+. For my son's sake... paid... Education became so commerical... We are encouraging it by some means.

@freebird, as others said if you go to very popular schools, they may charge high..but there are also schools where there have reasonable fees..my kid studied in Daffodils playschool, Porur  last year I paid 6,500 as admission fee and 700 as monthly fee. Before that he was in Ta ra rum pum for two months in Eakkatutangal where admission fee was 3,300 and 2,000 per month (need not pay for the months when the kid is not going school)..in both the places the coaching was fine..Daffodils have many branches..so I think based on the school we are selecting it depends.

Thanks .I had visited the Daffodils Schools website .They havebranches in Porur,Besant Nagar,Alwarthirunagar,Saligramam,Valasravakkam.All these places r very far from my place.So looking for some school which is somewat near to my area.

 you can put ur kid in apple kids...its near keelkattalai...

for prekg they charge 20000 per year...i have put my son in playgroup
