I haven't seen any mother's room where the new moms can pump their milk and store it when they are at work. I didn't go to work till I stopped feeding for both of my kids and so I didn't face this issue. But I always wonder how these girls join work within 2 or 3 months after the baby birth. Even if they pump the milk in the morning and as soon as they return back from work, the modern "IT work + commute" takes almost 10+ hrs!

Your blog is a good one. I had mentioned about pumping the milk in times of need and situation the mothers are in (eg: when mothers go to work etc). Esp when the mothers join work in 2 or 3 months, I would like to know how they manage their milk flow during the time they are at work. In chennai, I have not heard of any mothers room where the mother can pump the milk when they are at work and take it home and feed the baby or store it for the next day when they go back to work. Such a room or even a refrigerator is not available even in MNC-IT companies.
Yup. I wonder which forums we should take this up for the company admin to take note of. When I visited sweden , I found mother's room in many places.
I have heard many of my friends and relatives - all young moms had to use the bathroom to squeeze out the milk. I really can't stand up for the pain and most importantly to waste the milk. Common its so nutritious to our young ones and one should waste it?
