Has your son started taking solid food as a meal and feeds on you only for the comfort feeling? Or does he refuses to eat solid food itself? I bet you'd have tried the following. If not, give it a try: Start the process with bland liquids that taste like breast milk. Since your son is 2 yrs, you can give him junior horlicks, pediasure etc. You can try to give him juices, pureed food whenever he wants to feed on you. You can try giving all liquids in sippy cup as he has grown up for pacifiers. Encourage and make him eat solid food and leave off milk. You can try saying "You've to eat like your father to grow big, Your friends will say "shame, shame" if you don't stop etc". But tell him all this when he is in a good mood and is listening to you. It's a slow process, but ultimately he'll get it. Try to distract him with anything that he likes (if he has to watch his favorite cartoon on tv or wants a chocolate etc.) whenever he comes to feed on you. Finally if you've to stop and have tried your best, try applying neam oil (vepilai ennai) in your nipples. Just apply 1 drop. The smell itself will not be good for your son to come near you, and it tastes bad. It could be rude, but what to do if you've tried out everything and nothing worked?

As your son is 2 yrs old, you will be trying to make him leave your feed atleast for the last 6 months, no? if you have tried everything suggested by friends,you can consult a doctor immediately as it will affect the health of the other child.take good care of your health.

Hope by now ur problem would have been solved..,I joined in this site few days back ,and was going through all Q&A.. for my son, wantedly only i stopped feeding him ,breast milk..he was not eating other food properly and my milk will sure not be sufficient for him... I applied neem leaves paste on my breast and made him suck it..twice i repeated this..and from third time he stopped drinking from me..(But i had to suffer from fever because of milk blogging in my breast ).. but never mind...this is the best method as per my knowledge...
