Hi, I need an advice regaring my son's case. He is now 2 and half years old. He was born with multiple anomolies and he has undergone about 8 surgeries within his one year. He has TEF(Oesophagus food pipe operated), Meningomylocele, anal reconstruction, malrotation, heart (hole as well as valve problem), single kidney. except for the heart everything is over.. and he is ok now. next year planning for heart surgery. all these two i concentrated on him to bring him better. whenever i tell these problems to my friends or people when i am travelling, i always get an answer that single kidney and menigocyle is detectable in scan during pregnancy. If it is true, is there any chance that i can take this issue legally, becos, i have ssen my peadiatric surgean telling me that every month one or two cases he is attending. I feel that no child should suffer like my son, atleast for that reason if i go legally, may be the scan centres be warned. please advice

Really appreciate your motherhood. An ideal mother... Feel proud of you. Usually in the 7 month, we are supposed to take ANAMOLY SCAN, which can detect kidney/spinal issue for sure. Did you take that scan? Did your doctor advise you to take that scan? Please consult a lawyer immediately. All my prayers and wishes for your son to recover fully. God bless him.
If you have the receipts and reports from the scan centers and the gynecologist, you can sure file a case. It'd be good if you could post the details about the scan center and gynecologist whom you consulted during your pregnancy here in this site.Atleast the moms who visit this site would be benefitted.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she can keep a watch.

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
