Hello Chennai Moms Would love it if we could organise some meet ups so we could unwind and get to know each other.Request the administrator to try and organise a meet. Though this site is pretty comprehensive I can't really pick out the moms in the locality I live in who are of the same age group or with kids of the similar age. A site with all moms of different age groups does serve the purpose of unifying moms and their ideas but in practical terms I personally would like to have internal groups categorised firstly area wise and then probably in accordance with the age of the kids. Since this site caters to all moms in chennai which includes grandmoms ( yeah graduation from mom to grandmom happens really fast) I really feel categorisation would serve those grandmoms as well ( I have my mom who is looking out for some friends in here area with similar interests so she can spend some quality time for herself as well...amidst her daily routine of being wife, mom and grandmom...all equally tuff).. I have heard of Local Mom clubs in the US where in they have regular meets...and moms of the same locality help each other ...for example in babysitting, going shopping together, going for classes etc. The children also bond so well. Was infact surfing thru the net for a local club for chennai moms and here I am.Hope I get a positive reponse the Adminsitrator and all of you...
