Hi Luckmom, You will be able to find Bamboo chairs with ropes which can be hung from the ceiling, at the ECR Road on the way to Mamallapuram. You have to bargain with them on the rates. Not just ECR Road, you will also be able to find similar ones close to Swagath Hotel, Royapettah as well as Airport Road which leads now to the x-Kathipara Junction. Now the Kathipara Junction (as its famoulsy called) has many flyovers nearing completion. So make it on the ground level to get these chairs. Make sure that these Bamboo chairs are good enuf. I mean test the strength of these chairs. Use your hand and apply weight on the baby chair and see if its able to bear the weight. Make sure the nails are well bent, so as not to harm the child. Place a quilt or sofa cushion. U must clean the sofa cushion or quilt everytime you want to load the child, becos, there can be ants or other insects clinging on it. U must be able to get a baby bamboo chair with ropes hanging type for about 250 to 300 rupees. Good Luck.

I bought this "Fisher price Smart stages 3-in-1 rocker swing". For my first baby and am using it for 3 years now and both my sons enjoy the swing. Its portable, automatic and plays music also. It's worth the money. You can use it as a swing when the baby is small, then as a rocker and then as a small chair. If you are looking for a swing to hang from the ceiling, you can try all kid's shops like tunic city, annanagar, naidu hall etc. They have this plastic swing. Make sure they have the belts in it. If they have some sort of support/closure in the front (like we see in parks or play schools) it's advisable to buy it as your baby is too small to balance and sit.

When I had almost made up my mind for "Fisher price Smart stages 3-in-1 rocker swing", and I was on the way from my office to house, saw a baby swing placed outside santhosh stores in Anna Nagar. It was stand alone baby swing - similar to one in parks but smaller size - where the kids can sit in chair and use their legs to push themselves back and forth. It can hold upto 30 kgs and was in attractive colors, good enough to attract babies and can be placed anywhere within and outside the house. I know it is too big for my 8 month old baby, but can be used for long term and hence settled for it. My baby enjoys the swing now, ofcourse with our assitance and seat belt protection.

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she  can keep a watch.

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
