Thanks Kutty, PSBB Millenium is a good option but for the distance..Our house is interior East tambaram and I am a little paranoid sending my daughter for more than 20 kms by school van. ( Tambaram main is ard 6 kms and from there..the skool would be atleast 15 kms) I heard theres one more school ZION and its also good..any one has any idea? It falls ard 4 kms from our house...Anyone who has any info pls help

CBSE schools near tambaram: 1. Kendriya Vidhyalaya 2. Vivekananda Vidhyalaya 3. Boaz Matriculation Schools: 1. Shankara Vidhyalaya 2. SitaDevi Garodia 3. Zion Matriculation 4. Alpha Matriculation 5. Prince Shri Venkateshwara I am not sure which school is near your house. Check if out. I have heard many good things about Vivekananda Vidhyalaya school. They encourage extra curricular activities. Their academic coaching is also good. One of my college friend studied in Kendriya Vidhyalaya till 10th std and then in Prince matriculation. She has said good things about both these schools. Hope this information is useful to you.

Thanks Rose...KV is not in my list though its walkable distance from home, I dont know abt its standard in Tambaram but its rubbish in Gwalior. If I need to get her admitted there, she has to finish atleast 1 year of studies here in KV, Its very easy to get in becos My hubby is in defence. Boaz and Alpha are almost the same distance from home...ahould be ard 5-6 kms...Zion is 4 kms..coming to chennai in 15 days..may be need to do a study abt these scools std and admissions..!  N.S.N school chitlapakkam is good. Though a matriculation school from next year they are getting connected with CBSE. So, it will be also be a good choice. They are giving applications now.

            If you are looking for ICSE standard, then i can suggest The Lords' International school. Yesterday i took my son for seeeking admission in Junior K.G.They take him for observation, really the way they are asking questions to him is nice.I thought to put him there but unfortunately I've to relocate to Kodambakkam. 

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she  can keep a watch.

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
