The Ashram School emphasizes on holistic learning and not just academics. Students here are encouraged to learn yoga, dramatics and the arts. School sports more colors of Orange, White and Yellow. From well aired class rooms to copious drinking water at all levels for students and staff, the school has just one drawback. The lack of a playground. Presently students are monitored to go out of the school to a nearby playground. The branch in Velachery is where the school has its administrative office. Parents flock this branch to seek out for admissions. There are approximately 35 students in each class. They have till the 12th std. Approximate range of fees is anywhere between Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 18,000/- per year. Each standard has a different fee structure. Find out the prevailing rates at the school administrative office. It's a good school. Have you got the admission in this school? It seems getting admission is easy if the kid is out-going and is not afraid of strangers. As they just allow the kid to play, talk and do whatever they want in a room filled with puzzles, toys, books etc. Parents can be with them. Teachers will observe and then give admissions. Is it true? If you've got the admission, please share your experience.

Hello Mothers!! Feel privileged to join this group. My first posting here. We live in Germany and there is a strong  possibility  of relocating to Chennai in the next couple of months. Would like to live close to my husband's office in RMZ millenia on MGR road in Perungudi and the Ashram school. Heard a lot of positive things about Ashram school in Velachery and would like to know if it is close to Perungudi.

Also, can someone suggest a very good apartment community with all the amenities, close to the Ashram school  please? HARIBOL. thanks in advance.
