u cud start by bathing her everyday. next u cud play some audio instrumental, carnatic and devotional music for her. it will help best. they say if the kid gets to listen to Bhagavad Gita slokas it will help her increase memory power. if u r a hindu play vedagosham part1 in the morning and part2 in the evening. A stroller ride in the evening hours in a well done park wud incease interactiveness. make sure you wear ur kid long sleeved dresses so as to cover the body from mosquito bites. but remember, every day bathing wud be the best way to see yoour kid brighter. Is it she or he :) Well that doesn't make a difference. At 6 months, they will respond first to the sound and then bright colors. So buy all colorful toys, dresses etc. Go for the toys that make sounds. Take the baby wherever you go and allow them to go to your friends/relatives. This will make them come of any shyness they have. Encourage whatever they do like when they smile, clap hands etc. Then they will be motivated to do more! Talk to them as much as you can. They will also start talking soon. In few more months, he/she will start asking for say water, toys, food etc. At that time, make them say something (for eg: Tha for give) so that they will soon find the difference between things and will start making different sounds for different items :) Have fun.

Answers from Natural childbirth and lactation consultant,Pediatrician- Dr.Shacchee Khare Baweja

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she  can keep a watch.
