He is very practical and doesnt force medicines on kids.

Anu, is this doctor an old person? I remember going to a doctor when I was a kid. His name is Somu and he practices in his house near chintamani. I have a bad experience with this doctor. He prescribed very strong medicines (steroids) to my brother for his weasing when he was a small boy. As a side effect my brother became very fat. We knew that he was given steroid only after consulting another doctor... From then, we stopped going to this doctor.

U can try in SMF. Kurvilla THomas is very famous peditrician.

You can see Dr.Sairam. He is really good.He sees both in the mornings and in the evenings. His clinic is opposite to Hotel Saravana Bhavan. Clinic name is Children's Health Centre.

Kuruvilla Thomas is very good. HE comes to SMF Children's centre in the mornings. HE really listens to what we say. Only flipside is the long waiting time despite getting appointment

My recommendation is Dr.Manohar. He is my family doctor..i went to him when i was a kid, and now i take my son to him :-) His clinic is opposite HDFC Bank in 2nd Avenue in annanagar (near Diva and ChickPunch). HIs timings are 7 - 9 in morning and 4.30- 8 in evening..sunday holiday.

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she  can keep a watch.

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
