dear friends i want to know which is the next best school choice other than psbb- k.k. nagar, for my kids to join lkg and the school should have till 12th std with good values and teachings. I'm also doing a big research on it, since i'm not in chennai to visit schools,i'm really confused. Is there any other best school like psbb for the next choice if so pl. friends list it with the key information why that school is best like psbb...i have two boys to join lkg and study there till 12th std...that's my intention. I have decided not to go in for international std schools though they are good, i want my children to follow old cultural values and learn slokhas and have a mix of old vedic education with latest technologies. I think that mix is not possible in international stds, only the child can be exposed to lastest tech.stdies there..right...so pl. friends list me which are schools like psbb in all its ways from vedas to tech.studies.. i know about few schools and pl. tell me if that is equal to psbb or next best choice also: 1. maharishi vidya mandhir 2. arsha vidya mandir 3. chettinad vidyashram 4. dav I'm really tensed about the school admissions becos i want my children to have the best, then we have to rent a house near the shcool, my hubby shd see for job and commutation from that area...i feel so restless becos of these things and worried more about getting seats in the school i want for my kids...ohh..god...r2i decsions are tuff and stressful... pl. help me list the next best schools friends..thanks. regards barmee.

Hi Barmee, Chettinad Vidhyashram is really good. Some of my friend's kids are studying there. They are all very positive about the school, faculty and methodology. You can also try "Lady Andal" in Chetpet.
If you mean maharishi vidya mandhir in chetpet, then i've heard that they beat kids in school. Am not sure about arsha vidya mandir. Where is it? DAV is good but they are more academics oriented.
Barmee, Here are the Good CBSE/ICSE schools as per your expectations CBSE 1. Vidhya Mandhir in Mylapore 2. P.S Senior in Mylapore 3. Bala vidhya mandhir in Adyar 4. Sankara in Adyar ICSE 1. Harishree vidhyalaya. Chettinad Vidhyashram is good. But if you want more attention from teachers for your kids then this school is not good. They have 1:60 ratio

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
