SBOA School and Junior College
 This is one of the first school campuses for SBOA Education Trust, run by State Bank Officers Association. School has facilities to educate students from L.K.G to Standard 12.

It offered both Matriculation and Central Board syllabus until 1994 and now houses Central Board alone. It has Hostel facilities for the students who study there. The staff are best in class and the one of the best schools in South India

The SBOA School & Junior College was started in 1979 as a service project of the State Bank Of India Officers Association. The S.B.O.A School & Junior College was started on 6 January June 1979 to synchronize with the International Year of the Child.

The school was made a steady growth in the past 21 years and now has to its credit a strength of 6241 students and 244 teachers. It is affiliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education, New Delhi and prepares the students for the All India Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations. The school is managed by SBIOA Educational Trust.

But the school has very bad standards of teaching staff and systems.The children of classes 10 and 12 are tortured literally. Even though there are smart classroms they are seldom used and each one has a problem.

If you have a boy, it is better to look for some other school. There is a lot of unofficial bias against boys in the school. They are not even taught properly. There is ragging for boys and even the boys results are poorer.
