Hi all,

What fruits and Vegetables needs to be AVOIDED for my 6 month old kid?

Whan can we give raw apples as she is not taking boiled and mashed apples?

its advicable to give boiled ones. try giving her with sugar.

I did the same thing for my daughter:)

Hi Liz,

If your baby is taking, you can give any fruits.  IF your baby shows symptoms colic pain, avoid apple or citrus fruits.. otherwise they are rich source of vitamin C which boosts immunity.. Papaya gives them Vit A and C, banana is rich in potassium.  Banana can be steamed or boiled, remove the seeds.  if your baby is not taking it, try mixing some rock sugar powder (kalkandu) to it.  Below is a chart i recently downloaded for my kiddo... Hope it helps you too..

Meat and other protein foods   Strained single meats. Pureed dried beans, peas. Plain yogurt. Same foods, chopped or mashed. Cottage cheese, mashed egg yolk. Same foods, bite-sized pieces for finger feeding. Creamy peanut butter.
Egg white and fish   Egg white. Tender, flaked boneless

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she  can keep a watch.
