Side Effects and Risks of Yoga during pregnancy:
Yoga is generally considered to be safe in healthy people when practiced appropriately. Studies have found it to be well tolerated, with few side effects.
People with certain medical conditions should not use some yoga practices. For example, people with disc disease of the spine, extremely high or low blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, fragile or atherosclerotic arteries, a risk of blood clots, ear problems, severe osteoporosis, or cervical spondylitis should avoid some inverted poses.
Although yoga during pregnancy is safe if practiced under expert guidance, pregnant women should avoid certain poses that may be problematic.

Safe yogasanas during pregnancy are the following
Good poses of yoga on pregnancy is the following:
■ Breathe deeply and slowly through your nose during the poses.
■ Focus on elongating your spine and contracting your abdominals as a way to take deeper breaths.
■ If you experience discomfort, stop immediately. You should feel a gentle stretch but no strain.
So the poses you do on pregnancy should be safer rather than tough so choose the safe poses of yogasanas from the practitioner and follow it

Backbends Yoga Pose unsafe during Pregnancy

Balancing poses on one leg (unless supported by chair or wall)
Camel Yoga Pose unsafe during Pregnancy
Handstands Yoga Pose unsafe during Pregnancy

Headstands Yoga Pose unsafe during Pregnancy
Upward bow Yoga Pose unsafe during Pregnancy

Hi Can we eat non veg when we do Yoga some of my friends say if we want to do yoga we should not eat non veg? But for a pregnant women egg and fish is must since it contains proteins and good for her and the fetus too so please help out
@Littleangel as you say in some of the yoga institutes they preach them not to take non veg its the gold habit too but eating fish and egg is not compulsory one even vegetarians have a healthy baby. But you can eat non veg while doing yoga no probs in that. For Eating sea food during first trimester of pregnancy has many drawbacks too. Eat Fruits and Vegetables during first trimester of Pregnancy
@Shivani IF you do yoga during pregnancy it even reduce the weight gain.Excessive weight gain during pregnancy can be controlled and you will get a chick body even after delivery.

If you have no chance of pregnancy ,please don’t worry.once in while anyone can have delayed periods.if it is delayed for more than 2 months ,please have an ultrasound done
