In the montessori method they group children based on their ages like 3-5 and 6-8 in diff. batches! Yes, there is lot of creative work they do and better than that they don't have homeworks or exams!

The teacher is just a facilitator here, with children helping each other in the learning process.

They usually say that, the children learn things individually here and be more confident in concepts!

So,they learn more upto age 6 and after that even if u put them in any board(CBSE/matric) they are sure to  pick that up very easily!

So, the method is suggested for early childhood learning.

 Montessori method of teaching is a child centred one.  It is a play way method of teaching without putting pressure on the child to learn. There is no forcing a kid. They are surrounded by play things like wooden shapes and other stuff and they learn by playing with these toys.

The children learn a lot more quickly and their grasp is high in this method. Also their stress levels are nil. This is the best method for starters. You can shift school after UKG or a few schools offer this in kindergarten wherein you don't have to take the trouble of shifting schools. All the very best 

If thts the case and we know it is children friendly, then why do we go for a normal school like CBSE or ICSE or State syllabus???

Reasons to put ur child in a Montessori school

• Proximity to your home ( Primary reason for any school)
• Don't mind changing the school from 1st standard ( its a grueling process  yet again ) ...did i answer u as well bhavs ???
• Verify if the Montessori school is recognised ( there are so many schools claiming to be montessori but are not...jus check with them if they have any certificate ...)

My son goes to Lalaji Omega Memorial International School which has the montessori education concept...
