itz time u start with some nice fruit purees..make sure that there is no fruits lumps in the blended puree...i think tat shud b the best to start with...also u can start with some soups...

See that the baby burps properly after each time you feed her/him... most of the time, babies vomit because of gas.. after a burp, it becomes ok.

Hey Meenakshi...

If it is indigestion .. the vomit will smell bad and it will be curdled,.. You can check up with ur pediatrician and give domstall as per her advise ..
If she vomits just after eating ,its over feeding.. reduce the quantity.. for solid food give 3 hours gap and liquids at least 2 hours gap ..

Boil carrots/ beans/ peas (together or seperate as per your choice) and then grind them really well or into a consistency that your baby can eat. Add a pinch salt to them if need be (except carrots, of course!). Boil any dal with a pinch of haldi & salt & grind it with overly cooked rice. I tried all these with my son, they worked! You can also make cream of wheat / dalia with milk & sugar or boil it in salt water, if you want a salty one. Lemme think of some more.. will keep u posted

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she can keep a watch.

Trust this finds u in best of health.

I am a mother of 2 kids. daughter age 6 and son 22 months. my concern is my son. its been a couple of months now, he blabbers alot. there are a few words i can understand but most of the time he blabbers or talks baby talk to himself or to us. he can say mamma, dadda, come, more (if he wants more to eat) numnum for food, the word no, his sister's name very recently. he loves to sing rhymes. but he cant prenounce the words perfectly but say he is 4 out of 10. the melody is perfect. it was all very adorable but sometimes its very worrying to hear him blabber. i wonder if it is normal. i am quite anxious to know cause i did not experience this with my daughter. infact she started talking really well by this time. please advise. Thanks for reading.

Hi Natalia,

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
