Hi moms,
I have a doubt in my home my custom is not to wear new dresses during pregnancy even during baby shower they used to wear the marriage saree, is this custom followed in any home if you have the real reason please share waiting eagerly for ur replies
If we wear new saree how does it affect pregnancy
If our ancestors have said there must be a reason behind it so please help me

Hi i also heared like this,but dnt know the exact reason. but i know the silly kind of reason,i dnt know weather it is correct or not.dnt mind...
if any one expires that person wear the new cloths(for dead body),
so for that perpose only elders tell us like this.baby is in tummy na,thats why our elders take the this kind of precaution or sentiment what else the felt from before genarations.
so u can follo easily right,just wait 2 or 3 mnths,after delivery u can buy lat of saries dresses what ever u want.
afetr delivery u can wear freely right,now u cant wear easily,its difficulty to maintain,then y warries yarr...
take it easy fell free and be happy.
after ur deliery u buy costly sari like 20 r 30 thousand for ur kid namakaranam or any celebrations.

I too go with Bangary reason for not waering new dresses while pregnant. You can ask someone else to tie the saree for the first time and then you can wear even you can immerse in water and then wear the new saree

If you have no chance of pregnancy ,please don’t worry.once in while anyone can have delayed periods.if it is delayed for more than 2 months ,please have an ultrasound done
