Hi,

My girl's stool had a light red color today. It was not blood and she seems to be happy and healthy. But i am concerned. Should i take her to the doc?

Did you give beetroot to your daughter? This gives the red color to the stool. Also if you give spinach or any greens, it gives green color to the stool. So nothing to worry as long as your daughter is active.

If a baby has cold, then the stool might be light greenish yellow in color. It's good as the cold comes out in stools. Sometimes the doctors prescribe even medicines to break this cold flum if the child has sever cold and congestion.
