Hi Moms,

I have to put my kid for LKG in 2010 and hunting for good schools... I have ideas abouts few schools in and around velachery like DAV Public, Arsha vidya mandir and PSBB Millineum... any comment on the standards of these schools and difficulty in getting a seat for LKG in these can be of great help....

How about the Guru Nanak Matric Hr Sec School, Velacherry, St.Brito Academy, Nethaji Rd, Velachery Check Post & A Ganesan School, Vijay Nagar, Velachery... I could not find any review or standards about these schools... information about them would also be of great help to decide on the schools to hunt for a seat...

Could anyone tell abt the age limit for admissionfor LKG in arsha vidya mandhir.my daughter is 2yr and 1 month old.does this school has a pre-KG

Arsha Vidya Mandir starts only from LKG... the age limit for 2010 LKG admission is 3.5 years by start of June 2010... Probably 2011 LKG should suit your daughter... But as everyone says, its quite tough to get an admission in this school.. wht we hear is they strictly do not entertain any recommendations or capitation... None are aware of their selection criteria.. Anyways, we are gonna try with all due hope to get a LKG seat for our kid coming year... :)
