hI,

You will get your first period as soon as you deliver your baby.Blood flow and time priod, differs from each one.For some it masy last for a couple of weeks, and for others evevn a month.I think there is no need of any worries about that,as you will be all time busy spending time with your little one and you will completely forget about this.

Its varies from individual to individual. In my case, the bleeding continued for about 10 - 12 days, and then there was nothing for a couple of months. Third month onwards, my period started regularly again, even though I was exclusively breast feeding. A friend of mine breast fed for over a year, and didn't get her period at all during that time. In case you are worried, it would be best to speak with your doctor.

Soon after your delivery u will have your periods which will last for up to 15 days. It is said that the more you breastfeed your baby, you will have your next periods late.

Regular periods can change after delivery from heavy to light and vice versa. My first son my period returned after 4 weeks only though i was breastfeeding. Now with my second child it is 6 months gone and i dont have it yet.

Right after the delivery your period may last upto 10-15 days then it stops. I may come back after a long gap..but u need not worry, your body is just taking its time to come back to normalcy. I got mine after 6 months. There's nothing to worry about.

I m 11th week of pregnancy, I am healthy. Do I still need to take iron and calcium tablets? It will create any side effects.

Most of the Indians are anemic and the diet is not sufficient in iron and calcium.hence  we advise routinely iron and calcium supplementation.they can cause some discomfort in the stomach for few people.most of the time it is well tolerated
