ASAN Memorial Senior Secondary School was established in 1966. The school is the first school in Chennai that had affiliation with the CBSE Board. The school is one of the oldest and largest schools in Chennai.

The school offers admissions from the kindergarten school to the 12th Standard. The admission process for the Lower KG starts in March and Admissions to Class I to X are conducted during March to May. The students are admitted on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview conducted prior to the admission in the school.

Infrastructure Facilities at ASAN Memorial Senior Secondary School

The school has a campus area of about 3 acres. IT has a spacious library with a collection of more than 50,000 books and many periodicals. ASAN Memorial Senior Secondary School has well equipped Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories. It has a computer lab and is the first school in Chennai that introduced multimedia teaching in the school. The School has a large auditorium and playground for outdoor sports.

Sports and co-Curricular Activities at ASAN Memorial Senior Secondary School

The school children have ample opportunities to play different sports on the Playground available at the school. Some of the sports include Basketball, Football and Volleyball.

Admission starts in Asan memorial & its behind the Standard Chartered bank haddows road / Greams Road. I dont know abt the teaching............... I hav to get the form by tommorrow

Whts about other schools.............. i am mainly looking for Teaching as well as spacious school (without play ground its not full finished for schools, kids hav to play & enjoy their childhood).

For joining LKG class what must be the age of a child?when should i join him in a school.Next year  my son's age wil be  2years 8 months at the time of june.wil i get application for him to join lkg class?pls anybody  help me from this?

If CBSE, your child will ready for Pre KG for next year. You should have bought the applications by now. Not sure about other boards

Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School has been imparting education since 50 years. It is a co-educational school with around 2000 students having access to education in the school.

Through my sister's son (he is studying there) i got the infromation of Appln form issued by DAV and the child age is between 3 to 41/2 years in 1st of June.

Asan Memorial Application form issuing & Submission last date is 10.12.09 (tommorrow)

For PSS school in Mylapore they issue Application form for Pre KG & not for LKG and its closed.

For Vidya Mandir hav to call on Dec end, St.Betes hav to call Mid of Jan 10, Sivaswamy kalalaya hav to call on 1st Week of Jan 10, sher wood - kilpauk hav to call on 1st Week of Jan 10.

I will forward other schools Application issuing date once i get the details (other schools i frequently called them).
