Hi ,

Like Hemalatha said , try to put ur son in playschool , if you haven't joined him yet .

don't worry ...even my son was not talking well till age of 3  , same like ur son only few words he used  to talk and rest all actions only ....

then I used to slowly make him convey by words by asking him to repeat one by one word

say : amma give me ..

no much improvement , later I joined him in a playschool ...but he was able to continue for 15 days only ...we came back to London ...

I wanted to join him in school - My first doubt , which i asked his teacher was :

My son , started to speak very slowly ...till date I was teaching him only Tamil (my mothertoungue) how will he manage in London school ? entirely new language ? not even a word he knew ...

They said it is not a matter at all ...he will cope up soon and see he can talk English well , than you both people ....but u teach him in ur own language ....

To my surprise ...what his teacher told happened ...

believe me till date , One sentence which me and my husband always say to him is "

" Can't you keep quiet without talking for 5 mins , atleast "

so hope for the best ....teach him all new words , even if he doesn't repeat it u keep telling it again and again ...it will get registered ....

buy picture word books , u keep telling it again and again ....for sure u will see improvement .

u will get all picture books in all books shop. try it .Don't worry ...

Answers from Natural childbirth and lactation consultant,Pediatrician- Dr.Shacchee Khare Baweja

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she  can keep a watch.
