Hi,

Friends I need suggestion for my baby health, my baby was born at 29 weeks gestation. Now she is good and her weight is nearly 6 kg. Because she was this much premature I need to give her Mulitvitamin liquid (Pentavite) and Iron liquid (Ferro-Liquid) on a daily basis untill she will get solids. As she is now 2 months corrected, still 4 months to go with the vitamin & Iron.

I used to give it to her just using the teat of a bottle or just giving it in a bottle mixed with breast milk.But now she is suddenly not taking the bottle and teat. she either has it in her mouth or doesn’t do anything just play with it, when we force her she will get vomiting.

I changed different kind of bottle nipples also but she is not taking, even she is very hungry also she is crying only so I am very worry about her health. Does anyone have a tip to manage her vitamin & iron? I've tried spraying in her mouth with a syringe, but she spits it out.

Moms please help me how can I handle her and why she is doing like this?

some childrens hate the nipple smell and taste,but that kind of babies some times like baby cups y so you try small baby cups may be it will help you...

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she can keep a watch.

Trust this finds u in best of health.

I am a mother of 2 kids. daughter age 6 and son 22 months. my concern is my son. its been a couple of months now, he blabbers alot. there are a few words i can understand but most of the time he blabbers or talks baby talk to himself or to us. he can say mamma, dadda, come, more (if he wants more to eat) numnum for food, the word no, his sister's name very recently. he loves to sing rhymes. but he cant prenounce the words perfectly but say he is 4 out of 10. the melody is perfect. it was all very adorable but sometimes its very worrying to hear him blabber. i wonder if it is normal. i am quite anxious to know cause i did not experience this with my daughter. infact she started talking really well by this time. please advise. Thanks for reading.

Hi Natalia,

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
