I am 27 years old ,now I am pregnant for the first time, . I went doctor for my first OB exam (I am 13 weeks, 3 days) and the doctor said that my cervix is slightly open and it looks like I had given birth before.But I have never had any surgery on my cervix and I had not given baby birth before this is my first pregnancy. Doctor said that I have an incompetent cervix and might lose my baby in my second trimester? The OB said that it is probably not a problem, but I am still very worried!"

Any one had experience like this?

Always keep your hand should be very clean that is the best thing to avoid infection,normally it will not happen some times you have some chance to get infection.

If it were openish as you describe, imagine what you could be introducing in terms of bacteria. If you are concerned that you do not have symptoms, let your doctor know and maybe they can accomodate you with a u/s or something.

I feel some milk secretion but im 7 th month of pregnancy now,is it normal to secrete milk from the breast prior to delivery?

It is not normal.please check with your doctor .if the baby is alive and healthy then don’t worry .

Ther may be watery secretion which is normal

I m 11^th week of pregnancy, I am healthy. Do I still need to take iron and calcium tablets? It will create any side effects.

Most of the Indians are anemic and the diet is not sufficient in iron and calcium.hence we advise routinely iron and calcium supplementation.they can cause some discomfort in the stomach for few people.most of the time it is well tolerated
