Why dont you try some agency that will help you with baby sitters from Kerala? Or you may check with your relatives to send someone across. I have heard that it is very difficult to get a babysitter from Kerala. Good Luck.

I tried all the above said options, till now 5 baby sitters v got from kerala. The first one was very nice, trustable and loving, but she had some health issues, so she went back and now she is getting married. 2 one we got through agency, within 1 week v packed her beacuse she lied many things and also was very money minded... 3rd we got from kerala, she was around 58yrs, she pretended to be very nice, but after 4 months only we came to know she was not looking my baby properly, my childs weight was not atall increasing and she was becoming dull day by day.. moreover this lady stolen may things from home.. we sent her back.. 4th one was also of similar character... 5th one is the current lady .. she from here itself from morning to evening she will stay....

I can't leave my job also... many issues are thr.. my mother or mother inlaw also cann't come and stay here...

Then why look for a baby sitter from Kerala for the above said reasons. True agencies can sometimes send bizarre people and I have had horrible experiences myself. Why dont you leave her in a proper day care. I was very happy with Kanchana Paati and their services. There might be others too.

No I am not from Kerala. I am from Chennai only.

I am also kerala, with 19 months kid, struggling through same issue as yours. I have my mom and Mom in law takes turns looking after my baby. But still I go through a lot of emotional struggles with elders and the maid. Now I have a lady who comes in morning stays till evening, not much help as such. When checked through agency, they demanded 5k, excluding bus charges, plus a month salary as the agency commission.  Life is getting really difficult. Sorry that I am not able to give you any proper solution for your issue. But maybe knowing people are out there struggling the same way might give you a little morale support

if u live in south chennai i can suggest a few good places....they really take good care of the child thats guaranteed.

I feel that leaving your baby with a baby sitter is not a very good option in your case, as you couldn't find one genuine.

You can very well try the baby care centers... most of them are very genuine.

I know some good genuine places around velachery...if u find that is close by to your place, I shall give their contact numbers and addresses.

I had left my daughter in one of them and they took care of her so well.
